Censoring the News

On today’s session of The View, supposed “conservative voice” Nicolle Wallace again showed her true liberal colors.

In a discussion surrounding Cecil the Lion, co-host Raven-Symoné declared that “people for #BlackLivesMatter are outlash – are backlashing too, because they said ‘it’s a lion, but when we tried to start a movement, it didn’t get as much hoopla.’ And I don’t believe that’s true.”

The latest video exposing the trafficking of aborted babies by Planned Parenthood showed workers casually laughing over and probing at pieces of a “baby” and “another boy.”

The Center for Medical Progress (CMP) released a fourth investigative video July 30 showing Planned Parenthood executive, Dr. Savita Ginde, bartering over baby part pricing while admitting that the chances of providing intact organs are better if a woman “delivers before we get to see them.” The video showed Planned Parenthood workers laughing over “five-star” baby parts while trying not to “smush” them.

Atheist, Democrat, professor and social critic—that’s Camille Paglia. But in a recent interview with Salon, she had some choice words for the liberal media.

In a discussion about Jon Stewart and his influence on the media, Paglia declared, “At what point will liberals wake up to realize the stranglehold that they had on the media for so long?”

Barack Obama outrageously denied there was anything scandalous about the IRS-Tea Party controversy in his Tuesday interview on The Daily Show as he lectured Jon Stewart that: “When there was that problem with the I.R.S. everybody jumped, including you...you got this back office and they’re going after the Tea Party. Well it turned out no.” Obama went on to assert “the truth of the matter is there was not some big conspiracy there.”

Look at the data. That’s what former Gov. John Sununu of New Hampshire recently told Huffington Post Live about climate change.

Sununu’s June 15 appearance with HuffPost Live’s Alyona Minkovski was to discuss his new book “The Quiet Man,” which offers an insider’s perspective of George H.W. Bush’s presidency. Sununu served as White House Chief of Staff during that time.

It was the best of coverage - it was the worst of coverage.

The most remarkable thing about Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid's New Years Day gym accident story is the complete incuriosity on the part of the mainstream media about it. Three months after the accident, Reid still can't see out of his injured eye, so why doesn't a reporter ask Reid when he will be suing the exercise equipment company or at least give us the brand name of the equipment that supposedly caused that accident. Speculation on talk radio and in the blogosphere about Reid's accident story heated up last week when he announced he won't be seeking re-election to the Senate. But from the MSM, continued silence on this topic.

Many of you probably saw the network news reports about the United Airlines flight yesterday that returned to Dulles International airport when a crazed passenger yelling something about Jihad was restrained by other passengers. What you might have seen only on local but not on national broadcasts was a crazed Pennsylvania State University professor who began ranting loony left slogans on a flight from Nicaragua to Miami last weekend.

As we know - America’s media is for the most part decidedly Leftist, often befuddled and rarely right.  So when they wade into an intricate issue like President Barack Obama’s Net Neutrality Internet power grab - we can only expect even more Leftism, befuddlement and wrongness.

On February 26, the Obama Administration’s Federal Communications Commission (FCC) pretended to be Congress and rewrote law.  To suddenly start regulating the Internet under the 1934 Telecommunications Act - under rules written to regulate the landline telephone.

Even liberal English language media have occasionally given in to some accurate reporting about the ongoing Obamacare disaster that continues to plague American families of all stripes and their health care. Unfortunately, that has largely not been the case at Spanish language media giant Univision.

As we’ve often discussed, the Tech World Media is just as hopelessly Leftist and lost as the broader Jurassic Press. They so often get it so very wrong - often because their absurd political perspective warps their alleged “reporting.”

Saturday gave us two additional exquisite examples - one each in Politico (henceforth Pathetico) and The Hill.

MRC's Rich Noyes appeared on Fox Business' Varney & Co. to discuss the media's lack of coverage of Jonathan Gruber mocking the stupidity of the American public as being influential to getting ObamaCare passed.
