Libertarian conservative or conservative libertarian. Introduced to the 1949 movie of Ayn Rand's "The Fountainhead" in college in 1962. Read the book and then her other books and essays. Consider John McCain a good man with terrible political policies, most importantly his attack with D Senator Feingold on the first amendment. I only became an enthusiastic supporter of the R ticket when he chose Palin for his running mate. I'd gladly support a Palin presidential bid in 2012, but there's no potential running mate for her that I'd be happy with. I'd have no problem with McCain as her SecDef, Rice as her SecState, Romney as her SecCommerce, and Ron Paul as an economic and medical advisor. I wouldn't want any of those attractive cabinet appointees as her running mate.
