My name is Scott Keyes. I am a 42 year old proffesional working within the IT industry and living in Toronto Canada. I am a long time political junkie that has made politics, the media and social implications of the interactions of these various diciplines a personal part of my life experience. Extremely well read in History, political science, film, media, I am a long time admirer of Newsbusters. I have found over the years that in general better than 90% of the issues raised, the positioning of analysis and the general tone of the respndands to to be both enlightening and , frankly, an enjoyment. My proffesional life is filled with international experiences. I have been known to speak out in favour of free speech and am a strong supporter of the aboloshment of the Canadain Human Rights commisions. A fan of Mark Stein( Fellow Canadian) and Christopher Hitchens. I am interested in driving the dialogue and providing a Canadian perspective.

I do not Blog for other siteS. Frankly, the ranting and low level of dialogue I have seen in commentary accross the board in the EMEA,American and Canadian online media spaces has led me to conclude that the sides have been chosen, weapons chosen and rants perdictable. Frankly, it bores me. I am a frequent visitor to , Fox News, Wapo, MRC, Drudge, ect..I am intersted in driving a conversation based upon the proffesionals that already blog at this site at this time and perhaps providing a different perspective. That is not to say that things will not change as quite franky, the sound bite disections are playing like the basic gotcha journalism that I see so frequently that it is a game for fools.
