Slipped in under a new name and changed it to "Barack Must Go". No underscore characters. We know it is him because he changed it to the very same picture as before - the President in his younger days with a cigarette in his mouth. THE EXACT SAME PICTURE.

I can understand a few "colorful metaphors" dropped on a troll..

...I mean, God knows I have on not a few occasions, but is it necesarry on every other post?

I would love to get my nieces and my nephew interested in what is going on in the world they are growing up in, and that includes encouraging them to read this site, but right now I cannot do that for fear of what they might run across.

I have been noticing what has been happening here over the last couple of months, and have sent a couple of PMs to the admins expressing my concern, and they were completely ignored.

It didn't used to be that way.

I intended it merely as a harmless and hopefully humorous post in response to JWF's reference to the "monthly meeting". I have personally apologized to you by PM--and repeat it publicly here--and am in the process of PMing the others to apologize to each of them if they were similarly offended.

But, I too believe the "pig" and "troll" accusation is a bit strong considering my offense and my intentions.

There was a man in that pic that Jer referred to as Shy. And a couple of years ago when we were all ragging on PopTech Jer put up a pic of a nude male statue to represent PT in response to a post where PT referred to himself as very "clean" and good-looking. It was a classic marble, Michelangelo's David or somesuch.

I truly don't think Jer realized his link would be offensive...and Jer, you shouldn't have qualified the apology above. Whatever you do, don't join forces with shawn over this. You'll never come back from it in rad and cajun's eyes.

I try not to get too caught up in the comings and goings of the NB troll -of which we've had many- but I don't appreciate the constant degrading of the site with implied expletives and vularity. We all know the words, we all know the images; if you can't make your point without the continuous use of them, you ought to hold back until you reach legal drinking age before coming back to the site.

As for B_m_g, though, he seems to personify the left's view of a right winger. Funny thing is, the left is invariably wrong on the issue, and the stereotype they've created effectively doesn't exist; except, it seems, in the persona of certain "conservative" posters on conservative blogs.

Smells like toxicodendron in here.

It's also possible that the periodic references to race are sincere as well, though I'd be surprised. They seem to reflect that stereotype I was speaking of.

I've seen several posts from bmg this afternoon and evening that are actually well presented. Could it be there are two distinct people on the other end of that interweb wire?
