Charles Barkley Calls His TNT Co-hosts A--holes On Live TV

By Noel Sheppard | April 21, 2010 | 02:14

Former NBA star Charles Barkley on Tuesday called his TNT co-hosts a--holes.

During the halftime show of the playoff game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Oklahoma City Thunder, a segment was aired featuring fans sending a video question to Barkley.

In this instance, a couple of young women asked, "Hi Charles, we were just wondering what do you like better: brunettes or blondes?"

What ensued will likely end up being another in a series of embarrassing vulgar episodes involving the outspoken Barkley (video follows with commentary, h/t Twitter's @ConservNewMedia):

Conservative Basher Charles Barkley on DUI Arrest: All I Really Wanted Was Oral Sex

By P.J. Gladnick | January 01, 2009 | 14:34

When last seen in NewsBusters, former NBA star Charles Barkley was in the midst of a conservative bashing spree as you can see here smearing Fox News with this quote:

“I watch CNN, they’re not f***ed up like Fox,” Barkley told B&C.  “They are a mouthpiece for the Republican Party. I watch [Fox] a couple times when there is someone I want to see on there. But they’re corrupt."

This was on the heels of Barkley bashing conservatives a few months earlier on CNN  as "fake Christians":

Hey, I live in Arizona. I have got great respect for Senator McCain. Great respect. But I don’t like the way the Republicans are taking this country. Every time I hear the word "conservative," it makes me sick to my stomach, because they’re really just fake Christians, as I call them. That’s all they are. But I just — I’m going to vote Democratic no matter what.

NBA's Charles Barkley Calls Fox News 'F***ed Up,' Prefers CNN

By Noel Sheppard | October 29, 2008 | 13:42

Former NBA star Charles Barkley followed up Monday's idiotic assertion that John McCain can only win the White House if he uses the race card by offering a rather vulgar opinion of Fox News Channel.

According to Broadcasting & Cable, Barkley said, “I watch CNN, they’re not f***ed up like Fox.”

A Fox spokesman shot back, "Charles is a shill for a Turner owned network."

Honestly, folks, you can't make this stuff up (emphasis added, h/t TVNewser):

NBA's Charles Barkley: McCain Can Only Win By Using Racism

By Noel Sheppard | October 28, 2008 | 14:40

Are you getting tired of being told that you're a racist if you vote for John McCain?

Well, former NBA star Charles Barkley basically told Campbell Brown that on CNN Monday, and went so far as saying: "The only way they can win this election is make it about race. That's the only way they can win it."

Barkley also told Brown that "the polls are flat-out useless" because "most people who are racists, they're not going to answer the question correctly" (video embedded right, transcript provided by CNN.com):
