Breitbart Warns MSNBC: 'We’re Watching You to Play the Race Card'

By Noel Sheppard | February 11, 2012 | 11:52

Conservative publisher Andrew Breitbart issued a strong warning to the disgracefully biased cable "news" network MSNBC Friday.

Appearing at the Conservative Political Action Conference, Breitbart said, "We’re watching you to play the race card" (video follows with transcript and commentary, vulgarity warning):

Rachel Maddow Trumpets Inane 'Amish Bus Driver' Analogy for Obama Contraception Rule

By Jack Coleman | February 10, 2012 | 12:22

Rachel Maddow is so awash in self-esteem, it's all she can do to contain her modesty.

There she was on her MSNBC show, enthusing about her appearance on "Today" that morning to defend President Obama's mandate that employers' health insurance cover birth control and contraceptives virtually across the board. (video after page break) --

CBS Turns to Top Catholic Bishop on ObamaCare Mandate Scandal, ABC Punts

By Matthew Balan | February 09, 2012 | 16:14

After almost three weeks, CBS finally brought on a member of the Catholic hierarchy on Thursday's CBS This Morning to discuss the Obama administration health care mandate that forces Catholic institutions, like hospitals and colleges, to violate their consciences and pay for abortion-inducing drugs and contraception [audio clips available here; video clips below the jump]. On Good Morning America, ABC ignored the controversy for the second straight day.

It was also the second straight day that the CBS morning newscast brought on a Catholic cleric for his take about the prominent issue. By contrast, on Tuesday, NBC 's Today turned to their in-house radical feminist, Rachel Maddow, who blasted the completely warranted opposition to the new policy as a "pretty far-right perspective" and "an extension of anti-abortion politics."

Not to Worry, Chris Hayes Chirpily Reassures, US Not 'In Hock' to China

By Jack Coleman | February 09, 2012 | 12:55

If $1.1 trillion owned by Americans to China is no big deal, as MSNBC weekend host Chris Hayes would have you believe, at what point does it become one -- five trillion? Ten? Ever?

Hayes, filling in as guest host on "The Rachel Maddow Show" Feb. 6, was criticizing GOP Senate candidate Pete Hoekstra's "Debbie Spend It Now" ad against incumbent Democrat Senator Debbie Stabenow. (video after page break)

NBC Brings On Left-Wing Host to Slam 'Far-Right' Objections to Obama Birth Control Mandate

By Kyle Drennen | February 07, 2012 | 11:12

After finally deciding to actually cover the controversy swirling around the Obama administration's attempt to force Catholic institutions to pay for birth control in health insurance plans, NBC's Today on Tuesday brought on leftist MSNBC host Rachel Maddow to dismiss all legitimate opposition to the move as a "pretty far-right perspective" and "an extension of anti-abortion politics." [Listen to the audio or watch the video after the jump]

While co-host Matt Lauer began by wondering if President Obama had "miscalculated on the issue," he quickly seized on Maddow's supposed "logic" on the topic: "...you hear people saying President Obama could suffer because of this in the election, and yet, you use your logic there, if the majority of women in this country say that they use birth control, could this backfire on the Republican candidates who are now making it the issue?"

Rachel Maddow Falsely Claims Santorum Wants States to be Able to Ban Contraception

By Noel Sheppard | February 05, 2012 | 13:38

To paraphrase Ronald Reagan, there she goes again.

On Sunday's Meet the Press, MSNBC's Rachel Maddow falsely claimed, "Rick Santorum says that he would like states to be able to make contraception illegal' (video follows with transcript and commentary):

Ed Schultz Tells Radio Listeners 'You Better Be Packing Iron' to Defend Yourselves

By Jack Coleman | February 03, 2012 | 15:01

And no, he wasn't talking about golf clubs.

A liberal says what Ed Schultz said on his radio show Wednesday, other liberals shrug it off as just an opinion, albeit one oozing the odor of the Second Amendment. (audio after page break)

What a Shock - More Misogyny From Ed Schultz

By Jack Coleman | January 31, 2012 | 19:07

Sad thing is, Ed Schultz thinks he's being clever.

Schultz repeatedly mispronounced the last name of Fox News' Steve Doocy on "The Ed Show" last night, saying it as "douch-y" instead of "DO-see" through indifference to accuracy or a sense of humor stuck in his high school locker room. (video after page break)

Jeopardy Contestants Can't Identify Picture of MSNBC's Rachel Maddow

By Noel Sheppard | January 26, 2012 | 22:52

During Thursday's televised game show Jeopardy, none of the contestants could identify Rachel Maddow even when a picture of her was shown to them (video follows with transcribed highlights and commentary):

Rachel Maddow Sniffs in Disdain at Belief in America as 'Shining' City on a Hill

By Jack Coleman | January 26, 2012 | 12:14

Thanks for sharing, Rachel, and confirming what we already knew.

The oh-so bright light in MSNBC's nightly firmament could barely contain her revulsion after Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels cited a familiar metaphor for America, that of the shining city on a hill, while delivering the official Republican response to President Obama's State of the Union address. Rachel Maddow, Alan Grayson Lament That More Democrats Don't Share Their Ardor for Abortion

By Jack Coleman | January 25, 2012 | 12:52

Maddow 'Very Flattered' By GOP Ad Nailing Her as Hypocrite on Keystone Pipeline

By Jack Coleman | January 19, 2012 | 12:40

Agreed, the (apparent) wig worn by the woman in that GOP parody bore little resemblance to Rachel Maddow's actual hair. But the parody's skewering of Maddow's hypocrisy was right on target.

MSNBC's ever-chirpy Maddow responded last night to a National Republican Congressional Committee ad mocking the MSNBC "Lean Forward" promo featuring a hardhat-adorned Maddow at the Hoover Dam. (video after page break)

By Jack Coleman | January 16, 2012 | 14:41

Even more surprisingly, colleague Rachel Maddow quickly realized the absurdity of the accusation saying, "He's no surrogate" (video follows with transcribed highlights and commentary):

Dylan Ratigan was a guest on MSNBC colleague Rachel Maddow's show last night, ostensibly to plug his new book, "Greedy Bastards! Eugene Robinson Grudgingly Laments His Glib Dismissal of Santorum's Response to Death of Baby

By Jack Coleman | January 09, 2012 | 15:21

We Have a Winner! Most Inane 'Human Mic' Footage Yet, Courtesy of Rachel Maddow

By Jack Coleman | November 23, 2011 | 18:48

A much-trumpeted "innovation" from Occupy footstompers is the so-called "human mic" whereby people in a crowd parrot the words of a designated non-leader to amplify his or her message.

Examples of this creepy phenomenon abound, including this one helpfully provided by Occupy cultist Rachel Maddow on her MSNBC show last night (video clip after page break) --

Rachel Maddow Slams Newt by Comparing Him to 'Google Santorum' Smear

By Tim Graham | November 13, 2011 | 07:40

With the usual self-satisfied smirk, as she karate-chopped the air in front of the word "SHAMPAIGN," MSNBC host Rachel Maddow mocked the idea of a Newt Gingrich surge by picking up on her fellow gay activist Dan Savage's smear of Rick Santorum: the one which insures that a Google search of Santorum leads to Savage's comparison of the religious conservative to semen and fecal matter. Don't ever let them tell you MSNBC is classy.

"They’ve gone through this with Donald Trump now and Michele Bachmann, and Rick Perry, and Herman Cain. We sort of expect them to do this with everybody in the field -- I mean, except for Rick Santorum. Nobody’s going to vote for Rick Santorum, come on," Maddow sneered. "But the idea of a Newt Gingrich surge is almost as absurd as people – uh, you know, Googling Rick Santorum and saying, 'I like what I found here, I`m going to vote for this guy.'" Then came the Springtime for Hitler references.

Wacky Thom Hartmann: Networks Were Forbidden Since Reagan to Talk of Poverty, Inequality

By Tim Graham | November 11, 2011 | 22:55

Listening to liberal talk radio is sometimes like just listening to the world being turned upside down. Liberal hosts make claims that are demonstrably ridiculous, and expect listeners to lap it up.

Case in point: Thom Hartmann praised the Occupy Wall Street protesters for changing the media conversation. He claimed that ever since Reagan was elected, the media has forbidden any discussion of the maldistribution of wealth, as if the words "Decade of Greed" weren't a media favorite, as if the "three million homeless" weren't routinely on the lips of liberal media personalities:

Yet despite Thursday's vote by the House Energy and Commerce Committee panel to subpoena internal White House communications concerning the company, MSNBC's prime time hosts Chris Matthews, Lawrence O'Donnell, Ed Schultz, and Al Sharpton still haven't said one word about this scandal:

Michael Moore: Violence at Occupy Events Likely Caused By 'Undercover Homeland Security or Cop'

By Noel Sheppard | November 04, 2011 | 10:37

Such was disgracefully uttered on MSNBC's Rachel Maddow Show (videos follow with transcript, vulgarity warning in Oakland riot footage):
