This is a link to David Codrea's articles about "GunWalker".
We are told that background checks are needed for all people who seek to exercise their Second Amendment recognized, enumerated, rights. We are told that our rights must be restricted for safety. We are being abused. Our rights are being abused. Why isn't the NRA snapping? All it does is this? [3]Maybe that is because the NRA isn't what many think it is. But I digress.
I supposed I could explain the ATF corruption, the manufacture of a crisis byt this administration (and others) meant to be used to curtail our rights, but David, thoug not alone, has already done so and I link to a starting place for your own research. Give it a read and think through the ramifications of this deal. This is huge, folks. Many have accused the DEA over the years of manufacturing numbers to justify budget increases. Here, we have the BATF&E cold busted doing exactly that. And a good man is dead with a corrupt government, actually two, directly caught red handed.
As a hook, think about firearms crossing the border, at the specific direction of the BATF&E, and a disarmed boder patrol agent killed with one of them. (Bean bag ammo and rubber bullets constitute disarmed) Consider this being part of an effort to manufacture a "river of Iron" [4] in order to infringe upon gun rights in this country.
Make no mistake, this is the biggest scandal to come to pass and it makes a blue dress look like the little squirt, a midget, in comparison. Republicans in control of the House of Representatives, not to mention the miority party members in the Senate, today should be screaming about this on every network and in every print interview every day. That they are not is a deafening silence. Defunding you say? Looking for places to cut, you say? Yeah, here is a perfect example of where and why it must be done aside from financial troubles.
I look forward to what NewsBusters participants have to say about this. It cannot get much more ridiculous, or corrupt, than this, imho. This cannot be allowed to be swept under the rug and one member of Congress isn't good enough. Mr. Issa, its time to get serious, Sir.
