Everybody wants to like Marion Jones. She is personable, pretty, bright and has been surrounded by treacherous, parasitic men most of her adult life. You wouldn't wish C.J. Hunter, Tim Montgomery and Trevor Graham on Ann Coulter.
Consider: in his variation on "I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy," Bondy might have used, say, Osama Bin Laden or Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. If he was determined to cite a woman, anyone from Tokyo Rose to Typhoid Mary comes to mind. But for the liberal media, the real enemy, the objects of true hatred, are conservative Americans.
So who is Filip Bondy? A bit of Googling reveals that before his current gig at the New York Daily News:
Bondy was the international sportswriter for The New York Times. He appears regularly as a columnist for MSNBC. Bondy has written three sports books-on basketball, soccer and figure skating . . . Bondy holds a Master's degree in communication from the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin.Figures.
