American Thinker?

I haven't read the American
August 7, 2007 - 20:56 ET by TEI haven't read the American Conservative, but if it takes after Pat Buchanan, then it ain't conservative. Although I like Buchanan and he is certainly a conservative on cultural issues, on economic matters, he's no different than your run of the mill leftist.

2 kinds of people
August 8, 2007 - 16:30 ET by Lame CherryMM, have you been on Huffington or KOS? I respectfully submit those people do not provide freedom.....so they should be in the enjoyment category, but I have never seen such a miserable bunch of sadistic souls gathered.
I understand your point and it is correct, but in today's world there are those who sacrifice for liberty and those who appear furious they are free.
Thank you though for the memory I have of Mr. Wallach in The Good ,The Bad and The Ugly as he explained there were two kinds of people who wear spurs, those who come in the door and get shot and those who come in the window and do the shooting. lol

I don't see Guns & Ammo on
August 7, 2007 - 22:25 ET by balboaI don't see Guns & Ammo on here anywhere, but I'd probably vote for Creative Knitting Magazine.

What about...

NOTA
August 8, 2007 - 05:39 ET by sarcasmoI'd pick another missing choice, so I voted for none of these. Reason Magazine, which (while far from perfect!) consistently punches above its circulation weight intellectually, especially when it comes to the journalism the rest of the news media don't wish to do for some reason.
I suppose, if I could be certain of which is most fiscally conservative & socially "leave me alone" among them, that would be my choice, but frankly I have time for none of the others. I don't even have sufficient time to read Reason every month.

Do people still read
August 8, 2007 - 05:55 ET by SouthJersey1953Do people still read hard print? I get all of my info from the net. "None of the Above" was not a choice, so I didn't vote.
No RINOs in '08 - Thompson/Hunter would be a good ticket; Thompson/Steele would be a great ticket

Groan.........
August 8, 2007 - 06:00 ET by SouthJersey1953ohhh, that was bad.......(but it did bring a smile to my face early in the AM, so I guess today is off to a good start!)

August 8, 2007 - 06:08 ET by Cool ArrowI guess I'm too green conscious (another quip). Don't see the need to spend money on eco unfriendly paper when the puter has unlimited info for a monthly fee.
Ah, but
August 8, 2007 - 07:59 ET by dervish'Tis inconvenient (and unsafe) to carry the laptop into the -- um -- inner sanctum.
