Is anyone seeing a pattern here?  If this had been a Republican administration the liberals and media would have started the drumbeat if it was just hinted that a person had done something amiss.

Does anyone in politics pay taxes?

I think it is time we all demand to see all congress-critters of all venues tax records...and to top that off, the talking heads in the msm!

I mean that too...I am sick of the double-standard of "do as I say not as I do."...

Plus please, I know this is getting to be repetitious, but we all know what would have happened if this was the Bush administration with the msm 24/7, let alone the screeching from the dems in congress...

The O-Team is evidently not vetting anyone whatsoever...and they count on their power and the msm carrying their water.

Outrageous...all of this. 

I'm sorry - while the rest of us will pay his goof. Seems to be  a trend of this adminsitration - they're sorry and we pay.

Did anyone ele miss the "Get out of paying taxes" letter? Or, is that a demolib thing? Anyone think the cowards in the media will ask a tough question about this, or do they get a free pass on their taxes too? Seems an investigation should take place! (or wait, their demolibs, no questions are allowed)

Ron Kirk was mayor of Dalals for a while and I saw some of the most corrupt times in this Dallas.  He and his city manager lied about the solvency of the pension fund and then when it was in dire straights the employees were used to get it up to snuff.  Even though the city was not doing their part.

He also made some shady backroom deals with the Perot group, yes Ross Perot, and after all was said and done Perot got the American Airlines Center and a big piece of real estate and teh city put a lot of money into it.  Then after he and his city manager John Ware left teh city they got cushy jobs in the Perot group organization.

Yes Kirk will fit right in with Obama and company.  I jsut pray he and Obama are fettered out and shown who and what they are.

Democrats love to raise taxes because they don't bother paying them.

For this crowd not paying your taxes is a plus because osama obama knows that he can rely on you to be the worst that you can be and do all you can to destroy the USA.

I hope all is going well for you and your fellow Senators. Especially since you all think that it is perfectly ok to take more of our (the actual working American who made smart financial decisions) and just give it to numerous non deserving entities:  Obama's campaign contributors, Acorn, Obama's newly controlled deparatments, and my personal favorite the idiots who bought houses out of thier means and now get to have it paid for by the rest of us.

Yet at the same time it seems none of Obama's appointees have to pay taxes. Why should the rest of us support Obama's steal the money fund if his own appointees don't pay thier taxes? Why is that so Senator?

No one from the House or the Senate is speaking out about who he is selecting and thier crooked backgrounds. Not a peep.

And the lapdogs scurry hoping to get a few of the stimulus scraps.

If this was GWB...the screaming in the halls of Congress would be deafening.

This is just as bad as a few of your colleagues causing the housing crumble and no one stopping them. Hold on...a few did try to stop them..Bush, Cheny, McCain and few more did compose legislation in 2001 to stop this mess. But your fellow Democrats stopped it. Nice job then and an even better job now (thats loaded with sarcasm if you couldn't tell).

Sad. It really is....especially since you are elected to represent the people. So why don't you start doing so? I already know Chris Dodd won't...he was one of the few involved in the housing mess I mentioned ealrier.

The people are getting angrier by the day Senator.
