This, too, shall pass...
January 23, 2008 - 20:00 ET by Chris NormanThe MSM is standing by, brooms ready, rug lifted.
right on, right on
January 23, 2008 - 20:39 ET by oorampWithout the basturds in the media to remind them, it will be forgotten, just like bush tax cuts for those who paid taxes, or the drug plan part d or how about three thousand Americans dying for being Americans, or McCain blocking permanent tax cuts or killing conservative judges with the gang of fourteen. The sheeple of this country disgust me, but oh well, At least I got a taste of what America was before the socialist /future communist took over and I'll be dead before they complete the transformation to government enslavement. Thanks commies in the press for protecting our rights to be free.
Chris,
January 23, 2008 - 22:27 ET by R D HelmI agree. All will be forgiven & forgotten, and in very short order.

The difference between liberals and conservatives is that conservatives believe liberals are wrong, while liberals believe conservatives are evil.
....damage whoever wins?
January 23, 2008 - 20:00 ET by echojackI wanted to vote "hopefully", but it wasn't an option.
At the end of the day Her
January 23, 2008 - 20:04 ET by red_dragon311At the end of the day Her thighness is going to get the nomination and make amends with Obama, and he will be her running mate
I hope Obama has enough pride to NOT take the VP though,

Prolly Not
January 23, 2008 - 20:08 ET by candanceMost Democrats, no matter how passionate they feel right now, will end up folding and voting for their candidate.
Eggzacly........
January 23, 2008 - 20:27 ET by VT Con Manand while they have their petty little snit fit about sexism and racism, the Republican candidates are debating the real issues of the day. Hopefully THAT is what will hurt all of the lamebrained democrat contenders.
Why are they not discussing the issues?!?
(because noone wants to be taxed to death!!!)
This isn't about them, it is about the party
January 23, 2008 - 20:33 ET by PamRush made a really good point today..this isn't really about them, but the Democratic party not liking an uppity black man to think he is actually one of them..The Republicans are fighting over policy/philosophy whereas the Democrats are fighting over race..
See Pam, I like Rush, but
January 24, 2008 - 04:01 ET by SchnikeysSee Pam, I like Rush, but this is what irritates me about him sometimes. He puts out stuff like this that can easily be used as ammo for the Dems, to be used against the Repubs. If he involved race, then imagine how a Dem could use the idea that Rush called a black man "uppity". How does that reflect on our party? I think he didn't intend for it to sound that way, but I think he digs the hole a little deeper than it needs to be sometimes.
To be honest, I think the Dems are just doing their best to use the concept of resolving hostilities as a "sign" of "strength", "diplomacy", and "reasoning" with the sole purpose of making their campaigns LOOK better and more interesting than the Republicans' campaigns....as if no non-liberal human being on Earth has the mental capacity to resolve a feud between his or her self and someone else. That's the thing about them...they think that if a member of the Dem party can cover their mouth and nose while sneezing, then it deserves a Nobel Peace Prize and infinite presidential election victories based on party affiliation alone.
You should add "Hope So"

How can you damage a sinking ship
January 23, 2008 - 22:05 ET by Lame CherryObama is a sinking tuna boat swamped in a world of aircraft carriers and Hillary is a bottom trawler with a hole in the bottom in the same pond.
So they tear planking off each other..........what difference does it make as they both are going down.

January 23, 2008 - 22:32 ET by nkviking75The longer those two fight, the more money they'll have to waste to get the nomination. Anything we can do to pour gas on the fire?

Probably
January 23, 2008 - 22:52 ET by pbthinkerThe difference, this time, is there's a major constituency that's paying attention. If the Clintons keep going after Obama, the way they are, black people will remember it.
I'm sure the Clintons believe that all's fair, on the campaign trail and, in theory, they should be right. However, in this instance, most people believe they should be treading lightly. There are people, outside the campaigns, that understand the potential for tearing the Democratic Party apart. I doubt the MSM is reporting all that's going on. We'll know, in a couple of weeks, if the Clintons have backed off, or not.

Guess I should have read all comments 1st -- couple of others had same thought
I guess we are all hopeful...
January 24, 2008 - 02:29 ET by Army BratDefinitely should have been an option.
Happy Trails...

The Clintons and media noise
January 24, 2008 - 06:47 ET by machenationHow is it possible that after 8yrs. of Bill and Hillery in the
white house, and more of the same of senator Hillery
of new york (don't forget JFK jr. only had 1100 hrs. of flight time
in that model of aircraft when he anounced his desire to run
for for that new york office) the world hasen't recognized the scam.
YOU CAN NOT ASK WHAT QUALIFIES HILLERY FOR THE
PRESIDENCY. Anybody!
So how do they manage such a feat? Simple, start talking about
digging ditches with a spade, tell everyone that a martyr is not
as important as a politician, have your payed political operatives
talk about out of wedlock affairs with different race women.
(EVERYONE KNOWS SEX SELLS AND DISTRACTS)
All of this and more just so no reporter will ask, "What did you do
with the money from the cattle futures?" or "Did the copies of
all the secret FBI files get destroyed?" I'M SICK OF THIS!
If the feud ends soon,
January 24, 2008 - 09:56 ET by Hero SquadIf the feud ends soon, then no, it won't have a noticable impact. But the longer this remains a two-horse race, and the closer it gets to the convention, it could get beautifully ugly, since that's how the Clintons know best how to play it. Obama will then have to decide if he wants to be president bad enough and take off the gloves; or if he just wants the Democratic party to win the office, and proceed gently.
That's why I went all non-committal with my "Possibly" vote. Could still go either way, with or without the media's compliance.

January 24, 2008 - 11:55 ET by bassndudeIt will when considering the over all population of the US, but not so much with the leftist dems.
Save a SeAL, club a liberal!!
"uppity"
January 24, 2008 - 13:16 ET by JimmybobThe "uppity" people in question just might remember what is being said. They might also think about it and pay back the party that always said that "this is what we will do for you so vote for us" and then ignore the heck out of them. We can only hope.
All liberals are
January 24, 2008 - 13:52 ET by fonzie2178permanently damaged. This won't change a thing, if anything once the nominee is selected it will all be water under the bridge and these two yo-yos will be running mates.
Clinton Lies
January 24, 2008 - 17:06 ET by saintknowitallTheir lies haven't stopped them yet. The only thing it did was get Bill impeached and had stripped him of his law license.
But he is still loved and adored by the left.
