I agree. In a Yes/No poll
Tue, 03/31/2009 - 12:27 ET by Ruths husband BenI agree. In a Yes/No poll question both Yes and No should be supplied as possible answers. Good grief!

I agree
Tue, 03/31/2009 - 15:07 ET by kgI think he will be a one term president. If he see this coming I see him pulling a Chavez and will try to bypass any election. This man loves power more than Pelosi and that speaks volumes. He has an agenda to accomplish and the citizens of the U.S. be damned. The far left have been planning this for over 30 years and have been chipping away at American society a little at a time. Now that they have one of their own in power they are going to push things through so fast that people will not be able to stop it because their heads are spinning in dumbfounded awe.

Tue, 03/31/2009 - 22:15 ET by reelman46LOOK FOR ANOTHER STEAL IN N.Y.
March 31.2009:
ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - After a short and intense campaign, the New York
congressional race that focused on President Barack Obama’s popularity
and his economic policy was still too close to call about an hour after
polls closed.
Just before 10 p.m., with 81 percent of the precincts in the 20th
Congressional District reporting, Republican Jim Tedisco led Democrat
Scott Murphy by about 1,000 votes, a 1 percent lead, in the race to
replace Democrat Kirsten Gillibrand.

Tue, 03/31/2009 - 12:39 ET by cjbreischall four answers appear to be various forms of 'No, he'll be re-elected' with reasons why.
I don't see anything that looks like a 'yes', so I'm unable to vote.
I'm Not Confused . . . .
Tue, 03/31/2009 - 14:10 ET by DoktorFranken. . . . . I'm pissed. What in the hell kind of a poll asks a yes/no question with multiple choice answers that all say "no"?
Someone didn't check this alleged "poll" out before posting it.
Wait, what?
Tue, 03/31/2009 - 21:24 ET by IndianaCarlWhile I agree that a certain number of Americans blame the last administration - it's not their fault. Here's a hint - look at Congress.
And really - if you're finally going to give us a four question poll, why don't you give us the opportunity to vote - "YES". (And that presumes that he even makes through one term without either being impeached in 2010 by the Republican Congress or overthrown by the military that knows that their oath is to the Constitution. They have to obey lawful orders - but if he's not lawfully their Commander in Chief... you figure it out.)
Liberal = Hypocrites
WTH?
Wed, 04/01/2009 - 03:11 ET by Army BratYes...he's a one term president...if he's not impeached first.
Islam is a lie and truth is killing it.

Tue, 03/31/2009 - 12:44 ET by GothampcIs NB hiring an employee from the Daily Kos to write their polls? Where's the "He's going to run the country into the ground" choice?

Ditto on drive country into ground. I hope 10% of the USA will wake up and throw him out. What % did he win by? We need that much. Not the whole 50% more. M-B
I can't vote either
Tue, 03/31/2009 - 12:43 ET by DelsaThe outcome is rigged for SOBama to be a two time president.
I can't even answer, "Hell if I know"!
After all, I never thought we'd be a socialist/marxist nation before I died either/
dumb poll question!
Tue, 03/31/2009 - 12:48 ET by Georgia GirlOK, it's not just me. That poll question is totally weird!
So...who of us think Obama WILL be a one-term president? Raise your hands. We'll do our own poll.
(both of my hands are raised).
today's Poll question.
Tue, 03/31/2009 - 12:56 ET by merlin61None of the answers apply. Its to early to determine. He has four years to keep screwing
up and already has done a good job of screwing
up in only a little over 100 days. So, no, I can't
answer this poll. None of the answers apply.
Yes, a single term president
Tue, 03/31/2009 - 12:57 ET by Ole_SargeWhile I do not endorse it, the possiblity increases he may not make it through one term...
A North Korean or Iranian "communications" satellite explosion (actually a nuclear warhead detonation at high altitude casuing an EMP) seems a likely situation considering that NO ONE is minding the store.
I pray that I am wrong and he is trounced soundly in a re-election worse than Jimmy (I'm a peanut farmer) Carter was.
Sarge..
Tue, 03/31/2009 - 13:07 ET by Georgia GirlMy gut tells me he will be trounced. We only have to wait...uh, almost four years. But hang on there.
My husband brought up something to me last night that for the first time, I could actually imagine happening, as far-fetched as it may sound (and it would have seemed a lot more far-fetched before Obama actually started trying to turn our nation to a communist one!). My husband reminded me that our military is ordered to uphold THE CONSTITUTION. The military is not sworn to uphold the commander-in-chief (president), but THE CONSTITUTION. So...if Obama takes it way too far, they (the military) will step in -- by force, if necessary. Honestly, never could have pictured that happening with an American president, but now it does not seem that unbelievable to me...

Tue, 03/31/2009 - 14:23 ET by DoktorFranken"So...if Obama takes it way too far, they (the military) will step in -- by force, if necessary."
It can't come too soon for me. I don't know about other folks but we've been bombarded with calls from 866-544-7573 pleading and sometimes bullying us to call Congress to SUPPORT this anti-American clown. Obviously it's ''Campaign for America's Future'' a far Left extremist/Socialist group backed by Soros or, worse yet, our tax monies. That NEVER happened on Bush's watch. He trusted the American people (albeit that trust was mislaid).
I cannot wait to see Hussein perp-walked out of the White House because he violated the Constitution.
I was right about Soros

Regarding their sickeningly ''Progressive'' site:

Working to "revitalize a progressive agenda" and to "expose the conservative agenda that has made things worse,"
Campaign for America's Future (CAF) is a 501(c)(4) non-profit
organization that supports tax hikes, socialized medicine, and a
dramatic expansion of social welfare programs.

''Expose the Conservative Agenda''? These people aren't even aware that they outgun us in the ''Agenda'' department 10-1. Thank goodness we outgun them in the guns department with the same ratio.
I agree, Ole Sarge
Tue, 03/31/2009 - 13:08 ET by R D HelmIt pretty damn pathetic that the "most powerful" nation on Earth cannot seem to prevent a bass-ackward, rice gorging, third-world commie goober from launching a missile that, as you say, could very well pose a very real danger.
It would only require one to send this country straight back to the 18th Century.

A Day Early
Tue, 03/31/2009 - 13:00 ET by Junk Science SkepticNB - Check your calendar. April 1st is tomorrow, not today.
If this had been a real poll, the answers would include yes, hell yes, and absolutely.
It's the Primary!
Tue, 03/31/2009 - 13:01 ET by slickwillie2001The choices in these polls are always bizarro. I generally pass on them but comment anyway.
The real question here is, -can Obammy make it through what looks like a certain primary challenge for 2012? It's likely to come from Hillary, whose political clock is ticking in time with Obammy's back and forth head. If Obammy loses big in the House and Senate in 2010, which also looks likely, the democratic establishment might throw him under the bus. Forget all this affirmative action nonsense, political power is their first priority. A democratic primary might be the most riotous since 1968. Will Obammy's 12% hard-core base even tolerate talk of a challenge?
I cannot vote in this poll
Tue, 03/31/2009 - 13:09 ET by R D HelmThere is one glaring option missing:
Should Obama be removed from office before his first term expires?
My answer to that would, of course, be HELL YES!
If this man is not soon impeached for violating the oath he took to protect the Constitution, which he has violated numerous times already, then we may as well go ahead and vote him Dear Leader for Life, as the severe damage he is doing will be permanent, as in irreversible, by the 2010 mid-term elections.

I couldn't vote either
Tue, 03/31/2009 - 13:07 ET by goldboughI couldn't vote either. My answer would be, "there will be enough people to see the light that Obama has failed the traditional (and successful) United States." Hopefully those people will also see that he and the Congress Dems are turning the country upside down in just a few months.

Tue, 03/31/2009 - 13:27 ET by celatorObama's plan is to be president for life. So I answered none of the above.

Tue, 03/31/2009 - 15:23 ET by rexdraconimCould Obama try to pull a Putin? You bet!
Will he succeed? I don't know...he shouldn't have been able to get elected in a free country, but our Nation has been a socialist nation for a couple generations now, anyway.

Tue, 03/31/2009 - 16:33 ET by slickwillie2001A bill has already been floated in the House of Representatives to eliminate the 22nd Amendment. He will try to reign forever. Our first African President wants to be king.
I Know
Tue, 03/31/2009 - 16:50 ET by rexdraconimThe time is ripe for it. And with far too many pollyannas on our side, what will stop it, really?
Generations have gone in to the re-invention of our once Free and Proud Nation into the socialist country it is. And is it, has been, and will remain so until WE GET OFF OUR BUTTS and do something, permanent! Do not kid yourself, we are a socialist country, and where we go so goes the world. While we have slipped into the darkness, the world has followed.
The crisis will continue. It will become reasonable "to not change administrations in the middle of the crisis..."
I posted to this subject (a long one) as part of a response to the U.K. envirogenocide thing.
Do you think that ANYTHING will wake up the folks who have slept through their lives anyway?
The time will come to fish or cut bait. See what we get for "being nice?" Playtime is over. As the only responsible adults around, we have to fix this; the leftists won't. We can blame them, the same way you can blame water for being wet. But the responsibility is with us to fix it, because they won't. This is how they want it.

Which Barack Obama will run in next election?
Tue, 03/31/2009 - 13:31 ET by Retired GeekBarack Obama has great confidence in his 'False Image' that was elected POTUS.
It is the real Barack Obama that he detests and loathes.
The
'Real Barack Obama' is nothing more than a 'ShamWow' salesman for his
created image that doesn't exist in the real world but does exist in
his fantasy world - the image is what his worshipers elected.
Obama the 'Narcissist' has detailed his lack of identity, self-worth and self-esteem in his books and interviews.
Obama the 'Narcissist' feeds his 'Needs' from the feedback of his followers and anyone who will listen to him and praise him.
Obama
finds his 'self induced' visions of grandeur hard to maintain. Obama
does NOT like any challenge to 'His Reality'. Obama is NEVER himself
but identifies with the image of his 'Reality'.
Obama believes
any challenge that would ask him to account for his actions, decisions
or positions, is 'Unacceptable' and does NOT give him the 'Reverence'
he so justly deserves.
Obama wants everyone to look at him with
admiration, gratefulness and awe, to feed his insatiable appetite to
feed his inner lack of self-worth and self-esteem.
Obama will sacrifice anything and everyone that does NOT contribute to his self-image.
Obama will be 'Ruthless' towards anyone or anything that does NOT acknowledge that Obama is 'The One'.
Obama
will NEVER be satisfied with just Americans proclaiming 'Obama is the
ONE', he seeks the acknowledgment of the 'Entire World'.
I couldn't Vote

YES!!!!!!!
Tue, 03/31/2009 - 13:54 ET by Roscoe MendagoDid I miss something? Wasn't yes a viable answer for a yes/no question? Yeah, I get it, it was a trick question, but I'm gonna tell you Obama's a one term guy anyway. In fact I'll go out on a limb and predict Obama is gone before his 1st term is up. His incompetency will dictate his longevity. Of course I said that about Carter and Clinton, wrong on Clinton, the MSM was working overtime and allowed Bubba his second chance at a "legacy", albeit a bad one.
Tell me how was Obama elected? What was seen by a majority that convinced them an inexperienced lawyer/U.S. Senator with no real world job experience was ready for the toughest executive position on earth? Must have been his smile, calm demeanor, soothing speech, it certainly wasn't his substance. The guy is a charlatan, fraud, Marxist adherent to Reverend Jerry, you don't sit in those pews for 20yrs and not believe what's being preached....If a conservative made a mistake and simply walked by a neo-nazi rally the MSM would do a media inspired "strip-search" looking for swastika tattoos, but not with Obama, he's okay.

I'm unsure how his
Tue, 03/31/2009 - 16:49 ET by ThatDudeI'm unsure how his presidency will turn out. My personal opinion is that there will be enough people who realize how troublesome all his actions have been to oust him in the next election. I was shocked when Bush won a second term. His public opinion had been dragged through the mud, but somehow was re-elected due to (in my opinion) Kerry being a weak candidate (perhaps others voted him as I did, in order to finish his war.) Basically, there's only 3 factors that would lead to Obama's re-election. He could somehow manage to fool the masses for all 4 years (possible with the compliant media.) He could face a weak GOP opponent (highly likely, but this is our responsibility.) He could do as many of us fear and completely throw away the Constitution as well as any other principle this country was founded upon and make himself dictator. All this considered, either Obama turns a 180 in his presidency, or he's going to be a one term president (I hope America doesn't fail my faith in us.)

I can not really see him
Tue, 03/31/2009 - 14:12 ET by amberI can not really see him surviving (literally or politically) much longer. The things he is doing is right out of Hitler's, Stalin's, Putin's, and Chairman Moa's playbook and a great many people see right through it. I just hope it is politically and he gets arrested soon, in time to fix the mess he created.

Tue, 03/31/2009 - 18:00 ET by deerjerkydaveRepublicans can only make a comeback if they return to their conservative roots. Otherwise Obama will make it through another term.
A lot of conservatives, myself included, feel deceived by the Republican party. We put them in power and they govern like big government Democrats. We need strong conservative leadership. Does the party have what it takes? It remains to be seen by this conservative.
