We all had a good laugh at that forced display..Her I love America wasn't even number 1...it was her telling everyone that she opted not to make the big bucks in a top law firm because she chose to work in public service (where she only made $320,000 a year..she forgot to share that)
With 300 advisers, I would have expected at least one could have written a less obvious speech. It was like they took the top 5 negative opinions of the Obamas and then wrote that!

Why does the convention have to be a week and what is the purpose? To me they are not needed. In the early days when it took days and weeks to get to a spot I could see a convention taking place. Even up to and 1940s through to 1960's they were useful but with the communications we have now and instant knowlege of what is going on they are stupid.
Consider that the "Choir" could not help but cry and otherwise "lap" up her speech. However, the uncommitted won't be swayed by what the potential "bitter half" First Lady had to say. They are waiting for BO to provide the "red meat," the real substance of him and his policy positions which were not there. Thus, my vote for "No difference either way."

They were both afforded this luxury by the taxpayers of this country because they were black and could get all kinds of grants. Also because of quotas set aside for blacks to get into certain colleges. This would make her sound elitest with special treatment, so she did not want anyone to hear about this.
She should go back and rethink her statements about American being a downright mean country and not being proud of her country.
