Her act is being exposed. Her only hope is with the media. If they support her enough, she may not crack. But then again, there's NewsBusters, talk radio, et.al. He,he,he!
We've already seen her buckle. Last tuesday she was flippen and floppin like a tuna on the deck of a trawler. She made Lurch in 2004 look like a straight talker. Her thighness is not Bill, I'm waiting for a 'Dean moment' any time now.
Are we losing our collective minds? Exactly what she want's us thinking. She's got this act down pat, there's not a prayers chance in hell of her buckling. Anyone who thinks she will, has no comprehension how greed for power motivates - not only her, but Slick Willy and their band of enablers. This exercise has been in the works since the late 80s; and it's working perfectly. The only ones at risk of buckling here are the apathetic electorate who apparently are dazzled by her b/s and find the idea of Billy back in the WH stimulating. Talk about the dumbing down of America - it's front and center.
Hillary will buckle but so what? Her people are busy with opposition research, you must remember libs don't rise to a standard of ethics, they pull everyone down to their level. Just look at Fred Thompson with his campaign finance advisor, bringing Fred down to her level means Hillary is as good an anyone else, the old false equivalence argument. Count on seeing this on any candidate that potentially poses a threat to Hillary winning. The Clintons are all about manipulation and triangulation.
Obama, are you listening, you're next... You best poke her full of holes before she unleashes the bomb about 2 or 3 weeks before the first primary, count on a December surprise.
Hanlon's Razor: Never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity. dscott's corollary: The line between malice and stupidity is called depraved indifference.
She "buckles" almost every time she speaks her mind, but the MSM covers for her. The real question is: How long can they keep covering up her Marxist/Stalinist beliefs in the heat of a Presidential campaign?
She won't buckle, under pressure, because she won't have to. The media, in the person of Tim Russert, has put on the show of pressuring her, now they'll move on to the other candidates and leave her alone. Clinton, Inc will make sure they feel the heat, if they continue, although it would be best for the voters if they did keep it up.
Democrats: Specializing in "high tech lynching" since 1987.
I think she would buckle, but I think it's unlikely there will be any sustained pressure on her. The press certainly isn't going to push her, and her opponents in the primary are under the customary social restraint against hitting girls, whether or not they or she will admit it.
...Now that a chink has been found in her armor (no Hsu jokes, please), I think that even the press will begin pressuring her for straight answers.
Further, I don't think she's capable of going the next year without being forced to give some. Parsing and triangulation aren't going to cut it much longer.
I think the proof will be in how the press treats Bill's latest temper tantrum. If they take any interest in whether or not he's telling the truth about his actions with the National Archives, then the tide may be turning. If, as I expect, they ignore it, we're just going on with business as usual.
As I see it, the problem is that if the media suddenly "discover" the fraud that these two have been perpetrating all these years, the media then have to explain why they're just now noticing what we on the right have complained about for the past 15 years. If they make the Clintons look bad, they make themselves look worse -- so I'm betting on same old same-old.
If one of the gops would let their campaign rise to the level of what our country was founded on as espoused in even the Mayflower Compact, then she will fold. Otherwise, she has little to worry about, because there is not one gop runner that will claim the right wing of the party and win with the largest % and numbers of votes ever. That is what will cause her to buckle and let someone else get thrown under the wheels of a conservative, Christian juggernaut. For some reason they are letting her off this hook and practically handing her the WH.
I have been telling FDT this from day one, but they would not listen and started by hiring Baker on for more of the same. To bad, but FDT can still do it if he will in the words of the OT, humble himself to the cause.
The depth of your polling questions should be commended as they are like which came first the chicken or the egg.
The answer to your question is no Hillary will not buckle under pressure as she does not buckle under pressure. Hillary will though be exposed in hard questions and emotional situations just how inept she is like Bill Maher in open forum give and take.
Hillary is good at ambushing people and hiding behind being a woman. Get her pinned and you get a stuttering, muttering, teary female who will get shrill.
In noting that, Hillary Clinton already knows what is coming in the Gore coup being implemented against her. Do not forget evidence was thrown out in a trial which should have remained........that was a huge quid pro quo to Clinton in the sense if this judge is a cartel operative which a majority are.......a sort of "understanding" was assumed.
The understanding being: Hillary we save you from being indicted and you can run your little campaign, BUT when the time comes you are going to step down or accept a female vice presidency for Al Gore IF your legal troubles do not keep cropping up from the "cowboys" of the CIA.
It was noted months ago a group of intel officers were quite investigating the Clintons and the honest fact is there is more embarrassing evidence going to explode than anyone has dreamed of.......that includes digitals from "Hollywood's own" who have been chattering away to the cowboys as they do not like Hillary.
But Hillary will not buckle.....she instead has been informed she either acts out the game or she will be shackled literally. Great poll question.
make the same mistakes she did in the last debate.
But even if she does, it isn't going to matter. Not to the people who will be voting for her.
As for Obama, he will implode when Hillary decides it is time for him to. About a week or two before the first primaries, I'd say. There are no other dems that can touch her, and Al doesn't have the guts to challenge her.
As it stands now, despite her less than stellar debate performance in the debate, Hillary will win the dem nomination, and probably the White House.
Dave, I agree with all you say here up to the last 5 words. I don't think she'll win the White House. If she does, I will have to reconsider my position regarding the strength of hard-left liberalism in the US. I've always said you guys were blowing it out of proportion. Hillary's victory would provide compelling evidence to the contrary.

pharisee that ever ransacked a Bible to rake the promises to himself

I'm sorry, but her supporters will vote her in no matter what.
There are no other dems even in sight of her. Not one. Not Richardson, not even Al Gore (who is scared to death of her). She will be the nominee, and will most likely go on to win the whole damn thing.
Unless she drops dead prior to the election, I cannot see how she can possibly lose.
The only republican who has even a chance of beating her is Fred. Neither Mitt nor Rudy the RINO can ever hope to win in the south. Not today. Not tomorrow. Not a hundred years from now. Without the south, the republicans are toast. Burnt toast at that.
Everybody also keeps forgetting about the FBI files. Trust me, people are terrified of the Clintons. Obama is getting away with attacking her for now, as his FBI file didn't even exist when the Clintons were last in power. However, when Hillary has decided she has had enough of him, he will be toast as well.
With more than 50% negative view of Hillary coming from likely voters, there is no way she can ever step inside the WH, unless, we the conservatives, let her have it. First, a real GOP conservative MUST run. So far the only almost conservative GOP candidate is Mike Huckabee. Secondly, GOP candidates must hammer each other to differentiate who's who, while at the same time exposing Hillary further. Or, draft VP Cheney to run and save the GOP.
Heck, I'll even donate my not-so-old heart to him, in case the tough gets going...Well, maybe.
Hillary has changed her name to Hilarious Clinton. She is incapable of taking solid stand on all key policy issues. She is simultaneously for the war and against it. She is a Socialist promising lower taxes.Yet most of her utterances contain promises for new or extended programmes which will bleed the middle class dry. She is strongly pro abortion yet tries to soften the impact with weasel words. She is a member of a party which is an ideological mess. Hillary faces north, south ,east and west simultaneously.
You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can not fool all of the people all of the time
Slick Willy won the White House twice even after ruining Arkansas. And many libs still believe all the controversies around him were concocted by Republicans. The debate flub didn't even phase her supporters.
Barring some kind of miracle, she will win the White House.
card holding member of the vast right-wing conspiracy
UNSURE...She WILL pull a screechy, screaming voice at one of her rallies, but the MSM will provide cover and not report or show it. Let's keep praying for Youtube and blogs.
Hilary is much like any other slug. She spent most of her life working in the dark and damp places that were in her husband's shadow. Her election to Senator was more of a payback for that dirty wet work that she so enjoyed. But now, she has decided to go for the brass ring. The problem is that to do so, she she has to step out of her husband's shadow and into the full light of day. But like most slugs, all you have to do is add some salt and she will shrivel up and die. And the best thing that about is that her husband can't do anything about it.
