The SRM has no pretense of being fair and balance. I think the anger that is heard from conservatives is being fed by the SRM ignoring a large segment of the American population.
My sense is that the media is afraid that there are layers-upon-layers of corruption beneath the surface at A-HOLE. The more they investigate, the more they strip away the layers of insulation that protect President Alinsky from direct connection to this criminal enterprise. Better for the media's objectives to downplay the depth of the scandal and the influence the organization has, to scold conservatives for "making a mountain out of a mole hill", to sacrifice a few street "soldiers" for the cameras and to create the impression that the operation has closed its doors for good. This gives the Alinsky Administration time to move the rest of the operation down the road with the same people, similar tactics and enhanced firewalls so that they can continue their criminal activities under a new name...and fool people into believing that the widespread corruption has been eradicated because A-HOLE has been "shut down". In ACORN's case, they do it under the banner of their objective of providing affordable housing and mortgages. It comes down to –"we'll stop picketing your banks if you give us some money".
Bank of America also made contributions to ACORN. I believe that some of the big banks contribute to ACORN either to curry favor with the Bamster's goon squad, or because the goon squad has actually ordered them to. The besieged banks will do anything to escape the TARP chains.
MSM followed the ACORN people during the election for registering people to vote, not that they were doing it multiple times. They follow them as they took buses to AIG executives homes and their children's schools to object their bonuses. When ACORN itself becomes the story because of something it does, well that's not something MSM can cover. Haven't you noticed the lack of anti-war groups/protests all the sudden? It's only happening if they say it's happening. Who are you going to believe, what they tell you or what you can see with your own eyes?
