The MSM would be all over this story if she were a Republican. Since she is a Democrat the MSM thinks it's no big deal. This story will get a fraction of the coverage of McCain's " mistake" in the middle east.

they do not want to admit that liberal did anything wrong basically i believe is the biggest factor. because for now on this will set the bar for when they coose to look the other way in the future. that's what bothers them they are setting a standard.

Once the Truth is Reported in the New Media, and sorta becomes a well know fact, the MSM has to report it and give it "more" credibility . . .OR- be seen as what they (MSM) really are . . .slow moving and out of touch. It's sorta like the MSM's Silence on the issue early on, cast some doubt on the Internet story . . . But HEY, if the First Lady was dodging Bullets it would have been Front page news way back when . . .news that no one seemed to Recall . . Except Hillary.

The media is just now bringing it up because they were fooled by the Clinton camp into chasing the Rev. Wright story. Hillary's people realized she had goofed with her bald-faced lie about being under fire, so they released the video about Rev. Wright. The media chased that dog into the ground, and is just now getting around to Hillary's lie. Of course this is a typical Clinton tactic - delay, delay, then delay some more until the impact of the gaffe is lost by the time spread, or people tire of hearing about it.

The media is bringing it up now because they've been caught by the "new media". Almost four years ago, Dan Rather was caught in the mother of all lies, didn't realize he was surrounded and nailed dead to rights...so he arrogantly continued to act the jackass thinking his decades as a "journalist" would shift the credibility burden back on the heroes who trapped him in his lies. The current media is highly reluctant to report these stories, but the access we have to fact checking tools these days means that the media is going to have to ride the wave of the story (however toothless and dismissive their coverage is) or get washed ashore in the wave's momentum.

Personally, I think the majority of the MSM could not care less about Hillary Clinton at this point.
I am of the opinion they are covering this Hillary story is an effort to draw the voters attention away from Obama, as his poll numbers have been suffering somewhat since the scandal over his Porsche-piloting, "oppressed" reverend came out.
But, judging from the results displayed above, that appears to be just me. Lol.
I don't know about that RD...the msm is now covering Hill and her blather about Obama and Wright now...which I am enjoying...we are getting a two'fer today with Hill...one where she is caught with her hands in the cookie jar, the other with her saying we can't pick our relatives but we can pick our churches/Pastors...lol!
