MARATHON...

McCain should win NH, but it won't settle anything. The GOP race is WIIIIIIIIIDE OPEN, maybe after "Super Tuesday" we will all know something, but not after Iowa & NH. Mitt & Rudy will be heard, Huckster could make more noise, & maybe Fred does'nt have a toetag.

I wish everyone would dial back some of the hype involving the early states, at least with the GOP, nobody knows anything yet & those who say they do are guessing. After "Super Tuesday", fine, but wait untill then.

I agree with. But with 24 hour news stations, they got plenty of time to kill, and a good old election gives them a chance to trot out their experts and tell us why dims are good and Republicans are evil!

NH Aftermath Media Spin will be so sickingly for McCain

With Romney leading in delgates no matter what happens tonight the liberal press will be calling him dead as Fred, and McCain will have the sloberring fools proclaiming his nomination.

I admit it.  I balked.  I

I admit it.  I balked.  I just couldn't do this.

I froze like a deer in headlights.  I have no idea at all what anyone on my side is thinking (and I still don't).  It's way easier to predict the libs.

Thompson

I don't really care who wins, and it really doesn't matter as much in the grand scheme of things as many would like to think. Many have won NH and lost the bid for the nomination, and vice-versa.

My hope is that Thompson gives a better showing than he's expected to. It's really not all that difficult considering the expectation in the media (even among conservatives) is that he won't even register on the radar.

I heard him say in an interview that the rumor in Iowa about him quitting if he didn't do well may have cost him 2 or 3 points. But even if it only cost him 1 or 2 (which I believe, at a minimum, it did) he would have clearly beaten McCain and maybe gotten more attention in the media.

Since he's running a clean campaign, sticking to issues and substance, it doesn't play as well in the media. I'm sincerely hoping he sticks with it long enough to get the recognition he deserves as he continues to move past his opponents.

McCain: Make it 100!

God help us if McCain wins the nomination.  He's the meanest guy I've ever seen on Capitol Hill and he's for shamnesty and against the 1st Amendment.  He said we should be in Iraq for a hundred years.

God help us if Romney wins.  Nationalized healthcare and another assault weapons ban will be his legacy to conservatism.

God help us if Huck wins.  More big government, more taxes, all shrouded in WWJD.  I will not vote for a man who is dishonest in debates.

If Rudy wins, Iraqis will be more free than Americans.

Fred has potential, but doesn't seem to want it.

Ron Paul has been squelched by the media.  Even when he beat Rudy in Iowa, the normally fair Rush Limbaugh didn't mention a word about it.  Maybe the Leno appearance will help, but it's probably too late to do much good.

Even if we win, we lose.

Forget 911, I dial 10MM.

That's amusing, fossten

You rant about the other candidates with your Ron Paulite talking points, but not a word about why that nut job Ron Paul should be president.

Here. Let me help out.  Ron Paul can begin his Presidency by continuing to rewrite the history of the Civil War.

For his second miracle (just prior to walking on water), he can stop the horrible spectacle of people wearing crosses and wrapping themselves in the American flag.

No offense, but your

No offense, but your assessment of Fred is just a rehash of the same old tired talking points: Fred doesn't want it enough! Do you really think that a guy who goes campaigning 18 hours or more a day, who quits a very high-paying entertainment gig, and spends months on the road, doesn't want it?

Let me tell you what someone who doesn't want it enough does: they sit in a cubicle and type posts to Newsbusters. I know that because I meet all the requirements to run for president, but I don't want it enough.

Bruz...

Lolololol!

Rush Limbaugh stated that of the top 5 Republicans running for the presidency, only one was a true conservative. http://www.fred08.com/

fossten: I seem to recall

fossten: I seem to recall something about George Washington being reluctant to serve as President. As a matter of fact, he refused the office once, if my memory serves me right. It wasent untill he got tired of their pestering that he agreeded to take the office. And he refused to run for a third term.

Save a SeAL, club a liberal!!

I think that Romney is going

I think that Romney is going to win by default. McCain won in 2000 because a ton of Indy and Dem voters pulled a Republican ballot on election day and voted for him. The Indy folks saw him as a rugged independent and the Dems didn't want another Bush in office. This year it's a whole new ballgame, and I can see all those votes going to Obama now, which leaves McCain trying to win solely on votes from Republicans.

God will be the only one TO

God will be the only one TO help us if that RINO McCain does win the nomination. However, if the Hildabeast or Obama wins the nomination folks who haven't voted in 20 years will belly crawl over broken glass to vote for McCain. Just an observation.

EvilCon555   Just left

EvilCon555

Just left the polls - did NOT vote for McCain.

Did you hear they are runnng out of Dem ballots here in NH? Most cities that are running out are near the MA border.

I just hope folks are so against Hillary they are grabbing the blue ballot and making a statement there. God forbid though that pushes McCain up the ladder.

I left the area I was working today and some lone late middle aged preppy female was pushing Hillary on me at the front door. I looked her in the eye and said "nice tears". She smiled and said..."did it work for you?" Very telling....I shrugged and told her I was undecided...about whether or not the tears were real - I was QUITE sure who I was voting for.

It's a freakin cr*p shoot out there. The games afoot and the ballots are smokin' in NH!!!!!
