January 3, 2008 - 16:58 ET by BlazerGood answer Chris and not far from the truth either. The liberal media win's. True conservatives lose.

January 3, 2008 - 17:16 ET by Chris NormanBlazer,
I have a second choice: "I win". I'm so sick and tired of hearing about Iowa and it's virtues - real or pander (with apologies to any Iowans here)- I don't care who wins - just as long as it's over.
I concur Chris but there
January 3, 2008 - 17:37 ET by BlazerI concur Chris but there are plenty of primaries left and then the real plowing begin's. 08' will be a hard row to hoe.

January 3, 2008 - 17:47 ET by Chris NormanBlazer,
But those primaries will come fast and furious. No months for the MSM to stand around making pandering blanket statements about how Iowans "take their politics seriously" (all 10% of 'em)and "Iowans don't go for negative ads".

January 3, 2008 - 17:57 ET by BlazerI feel ya' Chris. The candidates and media, grovel and beg at the feet of Iowan's for a few month's every four year's, but the rest of time thier just "flyover country".

January 3, 2008 - 22:21 ET by drillanwrYou'd think Ohio was important to them, after all the fuss from the 2004 election and the MSM and democrats LOOKING for a state to dispute ...
But we're not that big a deal, unless some serial killer is from Ohio ... or voting machines are made here in a presidential election year.
As for the weather channel ... We could get kicked in the ass up one side and down the other by a huge storm system (winter or summer) and it ain't really news to TWC until it crosses over PA. into New York ... Then it's friggin' Armageddon for "The East Coast!", with an ever so brief mention of "having done some damage in the Ohio area" ...
Yunz guys are "fly over" country ... We're where they dump the planes'/jets' toilet holding tanks as they fly over us.

Don't bother wasting a perfectly good hurricane on Ohio ... Wouldn't get serious TWC coverage until it headed into New York. Besides, Jim Cantore wouldn't bring his bald-head to Ohio for nuttin' ...

Iowa Caucus
January 3, 2008 - 18:41 ET by PShannonI must admit, I am quite surprised at the results (so far).

January 3, 2008 - 17:04 ET by DaBirdThe media has decided. They have chosen Huckabee and Obama or Clinton. They like Huck because he's a beatable conservative. And they'll take either Obama or Clinton. The media loves the idea of four or eight years of either a woman or a black man in the oval office, as long as they are democrat of course.
The media has spoken.

January 3, 2008 - 17:08 ET by Conservative Voicecorrection, he is a beatable Republican who should of ran as a Democrat. He is not a conservative. Anyone who plays the class envy card is not a conservative.

January 3, 2008 - 17:23 ET by Chris NormanHe would have had to compete with Obama in the African American Baptist churches. I don't think he would have gotten very far either. Now if Bill Clinton ran, that'd be another story...
The Democrats don't have any religious members?
January 4, 2008 - 00:06 ET by Martha FWhat is wrong with you? I am a very religious democrat, Hillary Clinton spent the majority of her life working for the United Methodist Church and so did Elizabeth Edwards. John Edwards has told us many times that he was raised Baptist, but he has not mentioned he is a United Methodist now. Democrates just don't brag about their relisous beliefs, or give sermons instead of speaches. Obama is an Evangelical Christian. Don't you pay any attention? Hmmmm--- I've watched all the debates including the republican debates and know what I am talking about. Have you, and do you? I doubt it. They still believe in the separation of church and state. That is one reason we left England!
The Media is STILL trying to talk.
January 4, 2008 - 00:15 ET by Martha FIt won't be Obama or Hillary. It will be Obama and Edwards. No more Clintons.
Unfortunately all the polls
January 3, 2008 - 17:05 ET by Conservative VoiceUnfortunately all the polls and http://www.intrade.c... have Huckaberry winning, but I am hoping that the people of Iowa will be smarter than choose Huck, as anyone is better than Huck.
National Review Gives us Hope
January 3, 2008 - 17:23 ET by deerjerkydaveMark Steyn over at National Review gives us a little hope. He hints that he has an early exit poll that is not good for Huckabee. If this is true, it shows that Huckabee had a lot of support but not enough to get his people to the caucus.

Romney by a burger
January 3, 2008 - 17:27 ET by Lame CherryAll that meat Romney fed those Iowarns will give him the gossip party by a burger.
I just do not see Huckabee drawing in those Baptists as Iowa is not a Baptist state........so in his running to Jay Leno, he is starting to fade.
Of course, I still do not see McCain placing anything but Iowarns just dug him and Huckster.
The person to watch is Fred Thompson's showing. I think he will do better than expected with the others fading fast.
But then who cares.........the media only covers Obama, the sometimes black man, sometimes church goer and all the time grinning dupe thinking he is going to win this in the long run.

January 4, 2008 - 00:20 ET by Martha FFortunately the African American won tonight, and he will bring Edwards right along with him. They can beat any republican. Because they are smarter, wiser and more in tune with the American people. You will see.

Why is Alan Keyes not a choice?
January 3, 2008 - 17:40 ET by c5thenYes, he is running. Is NB becomming like the MSM that we all loathe?
No I don't expect him to win, but it would be nice if he was a choice in your poll, because I think he will surprize alot of people.
The day that "politician" became a career choice is the day we started losing the Republic. Let's get it back! Alan Keyes '08.

But I agree that Keyes should be a choice, to be serious for a moment...And of course I'd have always supported NOTA being a choice in these stupid polls. NOTA in this case would have probably gotten your vote, since you clearly want to vote for Keyes.

January 3, 2008 - 18:42 ET by IamTinmanbecause the question was "Who do you think will win?" not "Who is running?".
Keyes seems to be a very nice fella, but he hasn't a snowballs chance. No sense in wasting the pixels.
Alan Keyes
January 3, 2008 - 19:14 ET by ReaganJrAside from showing up at the last debate who even knew he was running. If you want to be president it would be a really good idea that you let people know.
I like Keyes. I wish he would have been more visible. Given the current candidates I probably would not vote for him but if it was him against Guiliani, McCain or Huckabee I would vote for Keyes in a heart beat.

January 3, 2008 - 19:17 ET by ReaganJrI never expected Romney by 50% on this poll. I thought it would be a little more even distributed. Sort of like the national polls. I just this poll is more accurate than the media's. I would like to see Romney win Iowa and then go on to win the GOP nomination.
