This is the absolute end of Barack Hussein Obama's candidacy for POTUS.
To say that the dem convention will be a free-for-all will have been an understatement and as a repercussion we will have rioting in the streets that will make all previous racial strife look like a Sunday picnic as the dems dump Obama for Hillary. Hurry up Supreme Court, hurry up.
Minorities will stay home from the polls in droves and if some good make-up artists can keep McCain from resembling a candidate for a lay-out viewing at the local funeral home, McCain sholud beat her by double figures.
In order to become the candidate in the general she needs to "steal" the nomination from Obama using superdelegates and overriding the voters in the primaries. At least that's the way the Obamanoids will view it.
That will cause a massive wave of discontent among Dem voters, especially black and far lefty Dem voters, translating into a low turnout in November.
That's the way I see it anyway, which is why I swapped registration here in PA and will be voting for Hillary Clinton in April. And I was pushing people to do that long before Limbaugh caught on. The voter registration folks told me "a lot" of Republicans were changing over for the primary. Yep.
Until the nominations are finalized the head to head polls are meaningless. These worthless polls are how we wound up with McCain as the GOP nominee. Once the nominations are finalized then people will have to make a real choice which will not be reflected in a poll until then.
I hope Obama pulls this out so he can crash and burn in the main election.
There is the delegate thing. However, HRC begins the race with something like 47% negatives. With a number like that, of voters, saying they will not vote for her, she has to be the weakest candidate. She is trailing among Democrats. I just do not see that many Republicans, nor even an amount of independents voting for her to overcome her negatives. Nevermind that her election would bring Bill Clinton back to the White House!
playing politics with politics isn't right. keep it up and you idiots will have new State laws restricting your ability to vote legitimately... as in WA State.
Look, I agree with you to a point. Hillary Clinton is easily the most unpopular (I intentionally use the term as opposed to not popular) candidate in the race. That said, she's won two elections despite her unpopularity. We have a soft candidate on our side and I think we run the risk of being too clever by half on this issue. The assumption seems to be that disgruntled Black voters will blame the Pantsuit if Barack is denied the nomination and will sit out of the general in protest...but this "poison the primary" strategy will be perceived as having Republican fingerprints all over it. Therefore, I believe the Pantsuit machine will be successful in convincing angry Black voters that the likes of Rush Limbaugh, Karl Rove and Sean Hannity devised a scheme to make enemies out of two factions of the same party...that we're the real enemies attempting to perform a svengali routine on them by making their true friends appear as enemies. In effect, we'll be out-svengalied if we're not careful.

LK, in defense of McCain, tho he did not serve on the ground, (or a swift boat), he did endure many years of torture and resisted. That is exactly what a hero would do, if he was captured by the enemy, after being wounded. Now, some may not realize what the NVA and the VC were capable of, but they could be vicious. Much like the dark ages in Europe. It takes alot of courage to face that every day.
You are right. I am still disappointed that I will be forced to vote for McCain. I cannot risk voting for a third party and allowing BHO or Hildebeast into office.
If conservatives are RIGHT, then liberals must be WRONG.
When I talked about an empty suit, an pantsuit, & a war hero, & said all we needed to do was decide, I was breaking down what's left of the field.
I am by no means happy with McCain as the GOP nominee, there are too many times where he sucks. He reaches out to libs like Kennedy & Feingold too often for my liking. That said, he's still way better then the "Empty Suit" or the "Empty Pantsuit". This is a classic case of voting for the lesser of 2 evils & since we tend to vote against people rather then vote for them for whatever the reasons, this is what we get.

We have a long way to go yet though....going to be interesting and turning into some fun too if you can just sit back and observe without getting angry....which is about an impossibility because of the msm and the elitist talking heads let alone the minions who support Obama and are working for him....the spin continues.
As for Hillary all she has to do at the moment is...
"Never murder your opponent when he is committing suicide."
They're all staggeringly weak candidates. Unfortunately, that means we're stuck voting for the least bad candidate...McCain. But I really fear that the Pantsuit might steal this one despite herself. Both she and Barack are incompetents who simply backed into the Senate by facing joke opposition after the real opposition was torpedoed in the early stages (sound familiar?). The Pantsuit and the Chosen One never had to face challenges in their previous general elections, and McCain appears unwilling to mount one against them, either. How embarrassing.
Agreed, fitz. I read where Chuck Hagel [yes, I realize he is not exactly adored by conservatives] has opined it may be time for a third party, and I tend to agree with him.
I would have voted for Mitt Romney even though I'm ideologically closer to McCain. Maybe--and hopefully--I'm wrong, but it seems to me that McCain's mental acuity has slipped rather dramatically in the past couple of years. I think his age is a factor. He apparently made the same verbal gaffe about Iran training Al-Quaeda on three separate occasions recently which required Lieberman to "educate" him with the facts.
On the other hand, the Clintons have alienated many Democrats with their insatiable lust for power, and the intense antipathy toward them among Republicans remains unabated. There is no way Hillary can beat McCain. And it is becoming increasingly likely that neither can Obama. He has been transformed from a closet Muslim to an angry--even racist--Christian. Limbaugh nation will run a campaign against his preacher and his wife. I think substantial numbers of Democrats and moderate independents will vote for McCain.
The irony is that any centrist no-name Democrat could have won this election in a landslide, but the Left is very adept at blowing sure things.
Good analysis, Jer. The strangest thing about this election cycle is that each candidate effectively presents his/her opponent's best opportunity for victory. There is nobody to vote for in this election; therefore, I believe most people will be using their votes against a particular candidate. For instance, I don't like John McCain. I think he will be a terrible President, and I resent the manner in which he secured the nomination (and if that wasn't bad enough, the arrogant, hyper-aggressive attitude with which many of his supporters have demanded the support of the rest of the party has simply rubbed salt in the wound)...but I will summon the will to support him this November because I believe Obama and (especially) Clinton will be even worse. A reasonable Democrat would walk all over McCain in November, but the Democratic Party is currently run by the lunatic fringe, which won't stand for anything less than a vengeful, big government socialist. On the other hand, the National Republican Party is so concerned about winning at any cost that it will sacrifice its core principles to get the White House. We no longer have candidates who articulate ideas...the stakes are too high, so we get a trio of empty suits following the orders of consultants over-using polls and focus groups to mask the true intentions of each candidate. It's like watching the prevent defense in action. I think Dr. Peter may have been on to something...
