Joe the Plumber

Joe the Plumber asked the single best question of Obama during the entire Presidential campaign. He shamed all the 'professional' journalists out there. He's a natural.

I voted on what I know and

I voted on what I know and it is little.  Da Shoe thrower as I have not seen any of teh others much if at all.  I think the shoe thrower brought out teh bias in the MSM.  Just think if it had been a shoe bomber or if he had skills like Odd Job when he threw the hat.

Nuke em til they glow then shoot em in the dark.

I think you have to give

I think you have to give Luke Russert time to mature a little.  He should develop into a good journalist, if he doesn't feel he doesn't have to work to achieve anything.  NBC may be doing him a disservice by handing him too much too early.  His dad came up through the ranks and paid his dues.  Rather gets no excuses and my vote, because he's old enough and rich enough to know better.  I'll bet he's one of those type, who doesn't practice what he preaches.

I think the kid deseves a break for a while, too.

Oh, I voted for Rather, BTW.

Seems experience only matters.....

....when it comes to conservatives....Luke doesn't have any..

For me it's

For me it's Luke/msnbc...Rather is a given, for years now.

Without question, it's the

Without question, it's the shoe thrower.  He is the poster boy for how the modern press longs not to write the story, but to become the story.  The disgraceful way that some journalists justified this cowardly act (no doubt, some wished they had actually performed the act first) illustrates just how low in the occupational respectability pecking order "mainstream" journalism has fallen.

Luke Russert is just one in a long line of nepotistic media hires (Chris Wallace, Ted Koppel's daughter, Douglas Kennedy, Chris Cuomo, Maury Povich, etc.)...so that one is not so unique in its egregiousness.  We've got one here in New York (Rosanna Scotto) whose main qualification seems to be that her family owns a restaurant in the City.  As for Dan Rather, his move to HDNet is more sad than anything else...his tenure at CBS (not to mention Brokaw's at NBC) was the real embarrassment.
