August 29, 2008 - 09:19 ET by HermanoI voted for the "supposedly impartial media" one, but I would rather have had the choice "THE END!"

Ditto.

My choice: The end.
August 29, 2008 - 09:20 ET by mattmMy choice: The end.
Seconded!
August 29, 2008 - 10:27 ET by KJ_sezI would have voted, but the poll choices are incomplete. There is no entry for "after they turned the lights out".

"The end" was not included as an option because it's too obvious. What would be the point? :-) ns

August 29, 2008 - 10:17 ET by StillStacyMy favorite moment is today. When all these people will be leaving my town and I can actually be on the streets of Denver again. I often ride a bike path that takes me downtown. I avoided it this week. I instead took a path that takes me west. Close to a small airport. An airport where private jet, after private jet, after private jet landed. Hmmm. I wonder what kind of enviromental impact all those private jets made on my state.

Favorite Democrat Convention Moment
August 29, 2008 - 10:54 ET by AvitarMatthews getting fed up with Olbermann was good but the best part was being able to go to sleep early and not miss anything this week. I saw everything the Democrats had this week back with Jimmy Carter in 1976, Walter Mondale in 1984 and to a lesser extent Bill Clinton in 1992. It is really getting old.
Next week is going to cost me some sleep. The way McCain pulled off the Palin VP announcement he just did indicates that the Republicans just might be making another run at the gates of the establishment. While they were beaten back out of the city after breeching the gates in 1994, they might have a looser in the 110th congress that could carry them all the way.
not viewing or listening
August 29, 2008 - 11:40 ET by wizardjrMy favorite moment occurred before the event when I decided not to agitate myself by viewing or listening to it.

Favorite moment
August 29, 2008 - 12:56 ET by marv_e56sWhen Barack Obama made his 'surprise visit.' He thanked a number of people, with special thanks to former President Clinton. He commented on President Clinton as being 'a president who cared about the people.' He then ended saying, "Thank you, President Bush!"
A Freudian slip, to be sure, but definitely my favorite moment.
The evening before, John McCain commented on Jay Leno that the approval rating of Congress was 9%, ending with "That's blood relatives and paid staffers!"
Enjoy the silly season...
All I watched is Michelle
September 7, 2008 - 16:44 ET by dmntd1All I watched is Michelle Obama's speech. Didn't care for it. Worked my butt off the rest of the week so I could sit and watch the RNC.
