All of the above. The

All of the above.

The country has been hoodwinked by this empty suit.  He does not have a clue as to what to do.  I would like to think if he keeps this up people will be voting GOP in 2010 to get some sanity back.

The Obama Administration: THE most fiscally irresponsible Administration EVER

General Knowledge

Too many know too little, they react to personal experience.

How many people understand the specifics of his spending, tax, health care, cap-and-trade, military... plans?

People are losing jobs and homes. Their personal experience is employment and industry. The other issues are secondary.

JDW

DAILY WAVE

When people fear their government there is tyranny.

When government fears the people there is liberty.

HMMMMMMMMMMMMM

He knows exactly what he is doing. Soroses bidding thats what.

Notice when he was shaking Medevs hand M. didn't even respond?

This man is bound and determend to ruin this country before the GOP can regain the Congress in 2010.

This is a plan that has transpired over the years by Soros and the hard left. Not something that came about since he was elected!!!

People get your heads out ! Not only is it dark up there but it stinks also!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

all of the above and

i have serious concerns that by 2010 the damage will beyond the point of correction.

larry

larry,

Don't be so concerned. If the trends continue as they are currently going, and the economy doesn't substantially recover by next November, the GOP could indeed take back one chamber and halt the bleeding. JMHO. ns

Possible Revolt...

Why wait for 2010? We can stop this now. I'm tired of the pessimissm and "we're finished" garbage. There's going to be an uprising sooner than I thought. Have faith.

2010: A GOP Hill

But...

We can't just elect people who will STOP this insanity, we have to elect representatives who will have the guts to shut down the government completely (halt all spending and legislation) if the current programs aren't eliminated and where applicable, reversed.

O.T.

notice the lack of followup by the msm on the 135bil in treasury bonds seized in Italy and he theft of software from goldman sachs, the fbi was informed by G.S. that it has thre capability to control the trading of securities. ya think G.S. had that for nothing.

Buyers remorse

I don't there has been any shift of opinion among those of us that voted against him. We always knew what he was and where he was coming from. I think some of his earlier supporters are finding out they were hoodwinked. Also; while you may be able to register Mickey Mouse and dead people, you can't poll them.

"What a revoltin' development this is!"

Chester Riley

That's pretty much how I

That's pretty much how I viewed this.  Considering that the only place he could be losing points is with those who voted for him, I had to go with the economy.  Buyer's remorse may play into it if those same people who voted for him knew about all the other factors, but I simply don't believe that to be the case.  The most basic and primary reason poll numbers would start turning against Obama is because he campaigned that he could fix the economy and on the ground level anyone can see that the exact opposite is occurring.

mickey mouse and the dead, isn't where it's at

it's the big blue states that allow last minute registration, they bus in acorn people to register and vote.the damage is done and it doesn't get rectifided. their were many states that experienced that in the last election.ohio, washingtonand lets not forget minnesota.it also shows up in an imbalance between the number of people who registered and the number of voters.all planned in advance i'll bet.

It depends....

Yeah, we all know that all of the above are true.  We're in the know and (based on the fact that we're here) do more research and are pretty clear on what's happening.  However, we're dealing with the dumbed-down public at large when it comes to polling.  For that reason, I voted that it's because the economy isn't improving.  That's what drives the poll numbers.

Had the average knucklehead voter given a thought to the other things on the list, this guy wouldn't have gotten elected in the first place.  Things have to get worse for them to wake up and get off their couches.  Sorry to sound so cynical, but that's just how it is now.  Sadly there's still far more interest in Michael Jackson's golden coffin than the leftist revolution that has taken hold of our government.

Ann Coulter has a great link...

...to a NY Times article about all these college kid knuckleheads who voted for Obama who now can't do all the things they wanted over the summer because the economy sucks.

Why not include the link so we could all read it?

Gary

I want my country back!

The problem is that

the dumba$$es who voted for this guy can't ever connect the dots. After FDR destroyed the economy and had a 2nd depression in 1937 because of bankrupt socialist policies they still voted for him.

"Somehow, I told you so, just doesn't quite say it." Will Smith in 'I, Robot.'

I said all of the above,

I said all of the above, but I think it his foreign policy that is making people realize just how inexperienced President Obama is in dealing with rogue nations.  As much as people say the hated having a "cowboy" in office, I think that reality is setting in that sometimes you need tough talk to succeed on the international stage.

I don't think it's his

I don't think it's his foreign policy.  The msm heaps praise on his foreign policy and covers for blunder after blunder (G8 is going to make sure the temperature doesn't rise *eyebrow twitch*).  The fact is that they'd have to report things objectively for such matters to register with the average voter.  Aside from was and genocide breaking out as a result of his decisions(so far the threat hasn't woken many people), they will make it appear like his foreign policy is sound.  The economy, on the other hand, can't be reported positively when it's still going down.  Sure, they can spin all they'd like, but the fact remains that people can see a lack of improvement.

I blame...

I blame the Smirking Chimp, King George W. Bushitler.

Sorry, just had to add a bit of BDS, in case any of you have missed it the last few months. I did try to get in as many derogatory jabs as possible instead of just saying "I blame Bush!"

for those of you who think I'm being serious here, please look at some of my other posts.

You laugh, but when the

You laugh, but when the economy gets worse, and/or NK and Iran get even more belligerent, and/or there is another attack on the U.S., then you will see BDS exhibited by the Usual Suspects in a manner like we have never seen.  It will be their last gasp effort before the public at large is finally fed up with the lack of personal accountability of the leftists in charge.

~Agreed

Sometime back there was an article here quoting a lefty saying that Iraq "distracted" U.S. intelligence from the real War on Terror. I think that's going to be their excuse to blame another attack on U.S. soil on Bush rather than the current Administration.

That high-pitched scream you hear is the troll under my heel.

Libs are so contradictory

The economic disaster is Bush's fault BUT..

The peace and safety America experiences has nothing to do with Bush.

Sarah Palin is an inexperienced no nothing BUT..

She's 'quitting' on the citizens of Alaska by resigning.

The country under Bush is sliding into recession BUT..

Under Obama, we have reasons to be hopeful despite record high unemployment.

When Klinton used Monica Lewinsky for an ashtray it was just 'sex' and a 'blow job' BUT..

When Sanford cheats on his wife, he should resign

cjb , stop complaining about bush he's finished ,now

you have the real deal, stop back in 31/2 years.

I think "Buyers Remorse"

I think "Buyers Remorse" needs some clarification.  The moderates that voted for him are probably experiencing buyers remorse but the left leaning nut jobs who can't think for themselves are so attuned to Obama that they adjust their opinions to align with his as they change.  So for these people, what their opinions were back during the election period were probably different than what they are now... but that's alright to them.  This "change" is alright according to them.

When Obama was barking about greater transparency during his campaign, that is now irrelevant.  Obama couldn't care less about transparency.  And that's alright if you worship his shrine three times a day.

We need to have a 'George Soros died' type of tea party

Because it will be a great day when that nazi sympathizer dies.  I just wish we could find a way to confiscate his billions, leaving him a broken, penniless pauper.

I think this poll is very

I think this poll is very astute in giving his "responses" to Iran, NK, and Honduras as a reason, since the funny thing the congenitally deluded left haven't acknowledged yet about Obama is that his substantive foreign policy is simply a continuation of Bush's.

Obama has only slapped on a new veneer, but the bumper sticker crowd of the left thinks it's actually "change".  Thankfully the man is smart enough to realize Bush's team had it as right as it could be given shitty circumstances.

Empty suit - Empty promises

All of the above. It depends on your point of view. Any and all could apply. But I think the economy is the big one in the eyes of the general public. It's what Dems focused on in the immediate run-up to the 2008 elections. "Reality bites."

"All people are born alike - except Republicans and Democrats." - Groucho Marx

All of the Above

Plus the "character" issue. I believe many more people would forgive the guy his mistakes if he weren't the arrogant, lying, b.s. artist that he is. Many people voted for him because he is black and it made them feel good about themselves. However, those same people now regret what they did. They are finding out what many of us knew from the begining:

-He dislikes America ( his wife's and Wright's words spoke for him). His "agenda" is HIS agenda, not America's agenda. Therefore, he doesn't really care that we have 10% unemployment and are trillions of dolllars in deficit and debt.

-He's a world-class liar. Like the overgrown adolescent he is, he will lie at the drop of a hat to get his own way or to cover his own ass. He doubles down on Bill Clinton's fatal flaw. But, as with all liars, sooner or later no one will believe him.

-He is arrogant in his own ignorance. He puffs himself up with statements like, "I'm a student of history" when most people realize that is not true.

-He lacks the humility to lead. To be a leader, you have to serve those you lead, not the other way around. You also have to show respect for all those you have been chosen to lead. Remember his statement about "clinging to guns and religion"? Remember how he recently snickered about the Tea Party participants?

- He turns a deaf ear to any point of view but his own. He evinces a closed mind.

Barry Soetoro, The President of the United States, is a person of few convictions, a shallow human being, a shell of a man who is being held up by an immature, ignorant media who fawn over him in the same manner they just did over the "king of pop". And most Americans are getting sick of it.

what about o's kid's fashion

i see the 'chicken foot print' t shirt is a hit with his 11yr old, even duh one wasn't around for that fashion statement..

Who's the guy?

does anyone know who the guy is standing next to her in that pic...sunglasses, holding up his pants, shirttail out.

He also would not give us his creds--show us the meat of what he had done. And the reason for that is...he had not done much. He is just a sponge, a mirror--and sure enough, everyone supplied him with standing and a story. That was nice of us, wasn't it? Obama's current approval

Obama's current approval rating is at 62%.  When Bush left office his approval rating was 25%.  That's a 40 point jump in the approval rate for the office which is what you have look at.  Anything else is apples and oranges.

You know, goldbar, with every comment you post here @ NB,

...the evidence grows that you are intellectually ill-equiped to survive in a truly free society.

Obama is destroying our republic right before your very eyes, probably to the point of no return, regardless of what happens in the 2010 elections, and you are in here posting about GWB's 25% approval rating when he left office.

So Goldbar, what was Bush's approval rating 7 or 8 months in? Do you know? Hint: it was over 50%. January of 02 it was still 80+%. Get a clue

Save a SeAL, club a liberal!!

Lemon0in-Chief

Actually that's would be apples and lemons.

And Obama is the lemon.  But, finally, the polls have caught up with that fruity reality.

A fact that becomes increasing clear with every poll.

The Ramussen Daily tracking clearly shows the true picture now  people are beginning to click that those policies they don't like -- they're Obama's policies.

And that's why his STONGLY APPROVE/DISAPPROVE rating puts him at consistent and GROWING MINUS.

But keep kidding yourself, makes no diff to us. Though I do admit, Bush will have an uphill fight to win a record 3rd term.

How many liberals does it take to screw up a country?
Not as many as you'd think.

Bush's approval rating for

Bush's approval rating for the first six months of the first term of his presidency hovered around 55%.  Less than Obama.  Look it up.

Yeah, but Bush's ratings

Yeah, but Bush's ratings were going up, and Obama's  are going down. Very quickly. As much as 3 points a day.

Save a SeAL, club a liberal!!

His beloved Shahinshah

Isn't it funny how the helpless waif plumbumbar has no obligation to prove what he says, and that WE have to prove HIS assertions with a simple bark of his orders?

I can explain that quite easily: Bush wasn't being worshipped like Christ by the media.  Never was.  In fact, I am surprised that the media isn't reporting that His Majesty The Shahinshah can in fact resurrect Michael Jackson with an executive order and that hot, beautiful smile that among other things...excites you.

We get it, plumbumbar.  You say this about the president no matter what.  Whether He speaks, has beads of sweat form on His brow, farts, or whatever, this is what you say (because finally, you believe, you have someone in the government who will be your personal nanny and will change your diapers when necessary):

The Holy Shahinshah's, President Wonderful's, the Lightworker's, The One's keen eye is the astrolabe of the substantive sun - His truth-discerning heart is the celestial observatory of Attributes - He is of noble lineage, of joyous countenance - of the model, most loving marriage - of right disposition - of open brow - of well-proportioned frame - of magnanimous nature - the honey-tongued teacher of the English language - of lofty genius - the inciter of thrills and tingles - of pure purpose - of enduring faith - of perfect wisdom - emitter of the most fragrant, sweetest flatulence - begirt with varied talents - of wide capacity - of high honor - of the most masterful, soaring oratory - of splendid courage - He who becomes Death, the destroyer of flies - with the unimpeachable reputation for integrity - of the greatest political savvy - of right judgment - of choice counsel - of  networked genome - of generosity unfeigned - the emblem of the American people - astonishingly ambitious, brave - of boundless forgiveness, abundant in graciousness - the most careful thinker - at peace with all-compendium of dominion - lucid, impeccably centered - of elegance unmatched by mere mortals - true American royalty - our own personal Jesus - of plenteous sincerity - multiple of single-minded warriors - of chiseled pecs - abounding in wealth - accumulator of the world's rarities - sophisticated - of pure heart - unspotted by the world - leader of the spiritual realm - elegant, articulate, Zen-like - of enduring alertness!  How has He been gathered together into one place?  Or how doth a single body upbear Him on the shoulders of genius?

I've already admitted the polls don't look good for Bush's campaign. What's the problem?

How many liberals does it take to screw up a country?
Not as many as you'd think.

Plumbumbar

Your God, His Majesty The Shahinshah, has had declining approval numbers ever since He was coronated as our personal Jesus on 20 January. And of course your intense hatred of Bush shines through here.

And you know why His Majesty The Shahinshah uis your God, and why you still have an obsessive, intense hatred of Bush?  Because you, plumbumbar, are a helpless, whiny waif.  Newborns can run rings around you.  You simply CANNOT function without the government babying you completely.  I picture you as one who wakes up in the morning and begins screaming for a nanny to help you get dressed, go to the bathroom, etc etc etc.  Pathetic.

Unfortunately for you not all of us are like that, and really do not need His Majesty The Shahinshah running our lives and babying us.  Hence the fact that He has had declining poll numbers since the moment He was coronated.

jessieH

jessieH             Let's not forget the people in congress who are destroying this country with their stupidity. Frank is in league with Fannie & Freddie. Reid, Dodd, & Pelosi have stocks & bonds in the companies they are helping. They are corrupt. It's simple as that.  When you add in mr. obama's B.S., it is a dangerous combination.

Why Obama's Numbers Are Reversing

It's only about the economy.  People are too stupid to even know what socialism is, and they don't care about the national debt.  As long as the masses have bread and circuses, they will ignore the government and think Obama's a swell guy. Too bad for them and for Obama that the president's economic policies will not and indeed, cannot work.  Perhaps Barry should have added an economics course to his class schedule back when he was in community organizing school?

Responsibility is the price of freedom. - Elbert Hubbard

Jobs, jobs, jobs

It's the jobs, stupid.

At the end of the day, Obama's sinking poll numbers mean nothing

He is still POTUS, and he still has a fawning congress willing to do his bidding no matter what, and a totally corrupt SCM to cover for him when necessary.

And even if congress should turn against him, it won't matter in the end, as he will have enough commissars (who answer to no one but Obama) in place to go right around them. Congress is being nullified (essentially thrown under the bus) and has yet to raise so much as a whimper about it.

Obama doesn't need the Senate to pass Crap & Tax, either, as the EPA will give it to him anyway, thanks to our "conservative" SCOTUS.

As for ObamaCare, you can be sure Obama's shin-busters are going to be out working 24/7 to get that hideous, nation-killing legislation through congress (which has repeatedly demontrated that it is no-longer listening to we the people), and in the unlikely event it should fail to pass, you can also be sure there will be another czar brought in to see to it that government winds up taking over health care anyway. Hell, the federal government pretty much controls it as it is now.

Obama is turning himself more and more into a dictator with each passing day.

"Obama's health care 'reform' plan is to blow up the building in order to fix a leak in the roof." - Herman Cain

All of the above?  I

All of the above?  I heartily disagree.  People would be fine with whatever Barry did as long as they have jobs and money to spend.

I don't view the majority of modern Americans as having any sort of true Patriotism nor nobility when it comes to ideology.

If the economy was fine they wouldn't about stuff like national security or how Barry's selling out our country.

Most Americans don't even realize that it was the Communists that caused this disastrous economic situation in the first place.  Getting a Communist voted in to office in light of this was possibly brilliant but more likely was just the result of the dullness, greed and self-centeredness of the majority of American voters.

One of the 34% who thinks George W. Bush was a great President. One of the 61% who wants to bring back the stock and pillory (yep...approval for Congress now at 39%...do you believe that!?).

It's the economy, and nothing but the economy

We are kidding ourselves if we think the government-educated, American-Idol watching, People Magazine reading, stoopid American sheeple are paying any attention at all to any of the rest of that stuff on the list.

-Spending and debt? Hell, most of the Obama-supporting sheeple don't even pay federal income taxes. What do they care?

-Fear of socialism? Puhleeeeeeeeeez. Most of the sheeple couldn't define that term correctly if you were to hold a gun to their head.

-His responses to Iran, N. Korea and Honduras? LOL-Most sheeple have probably only heard of Iran and N. Korea (maybe) and couldn't locate either of them on a globe if their lives depended on it. As for Honduras, why that's a country in Mexico, right?

-His apologizing for American history? Hell, the sheeple don't even realize that that is what he has been doing, and as for their knowledge of American history...oh God, don't even get me started!

-1993-94 repeating itself? I doubt most sheeple's memories go back that far. Hell, most of them don't remember 9/11, apparently.

-Buyer's remorse? The sheeple didn't know what they were buying in the first place, never mind that the dirt on this fraudulent goober was flying all over the Internet TWO YEARS prior to the election last November.

And even with the economy, the sheeple only notice it when it is them who are being sheared by it.

This nation has been slowly sinking deeper and deeper into a bottomless sea of feces for decades, and it's clueless sheeple have now elected a former community agitator and freshman senator who has jumped on board, reversed the bilge pumps, and is now about to drop the anchors through the hull.

Good going, America!

too close to the sun

What we're seeing here is the beginning of an Icarus like crash.  When Americans begin to see what is really being done to them by their ever-expanding government and the Chosen One, there is going to be a backlash that will sweep rid of us of Pelosi, Reid, BHO, Dodd, Frank, Clinton and the rest of these liberal statist who are hell bent on destroying America and replacing it with a version of France.

Don't worry.  Obama will be

Don't worry.  Obama will be way below those numbers by years end.

News flash

George Bush is not the president.

I'm not sure what your point is. Are you trying to state that the drop in polls is normal with this single set of data? There are a host of differences between what each faced six months into their presidency. One important difference is how the media treated each president at this point in their presidency. I remember the treatment the MSM gave Bush when he came into office and I can clearly see the way that the media treats Obama.

So if you want to increase your credibility, provide some meaningful data--maybe an analysis of several past presidents. Oh, and draw some sort of conclusion that can be debated.

Otherwise folks might get the impression you are a troll.

I had an impression of a troll on my hand for weeks once.

Maybe this insightful column from our neighbors to the north

will lead these supposed journalists in our country to do a little soul-searching and begin writing and speaking with a little LESS BIAS!

Check out The Canadian Press, Daniel Greenberg's June 11, 2009 column.  "...a shallow, manipulative and egotistical amateur..." is just a small portion of a very insightful article!

Ain't much me and the Bamster agree on.

Having said that . . .

All of the above

except buyers remorse, he's doing exactly what he said he was going to do. Try and destroy the nation by returning all the wealth to it's rightful owners all while hanging out over seas oogling teenage gals and thinking of......... sky.

Keep bamslamming the bamster until he is gone.

i'm shocked,

shocked at the results, my answer was other. and for my answer I went to the laws of gravity, what goes up most go down. I didn't expect Obama's numbers to go higher, or even stay the same.

As long as the economy struggles his numbers will continue to go down, though I don't think they will ever reach Bush's poll numbers.

Yeah Duh One may even get to single digit approvals and soon.

This guy Obama makes me long for the good old days...

of President Bush or even Jimmy Carter for that matter.  He is the worst President since James Buchanan.  One big difference.  Buchanan was inept but at least he loved his Country and did not try to deliberately destroy it.  Jim Webster

I heard this somewhere:

"It's the economy, stupid". If more taxes are on the way (and I can't see anything but) to pay for these follies. (cap and trade, healthcare for deadbeats, phony stimulus). Then there will be less money for discretionary spending which in a nutshell is our Economy (with a capital E). Less discretionary income less spending less jobs-very simple. Be prepared for an FDR economy: Never ending recession with puzzled leftist/socialist/dems wondering why.
