Bernie Goldberg was on O'Reilly last night, and he was talking about how Rather had always been paranoid about politicians being out to get him, especially Bush I. After the famous "how would you like it if people judged your career based on the time you walked off the set" episode, that embarassed Rather and elevated Bush, Rather's been sure that Bush and his cronies were out to get him. And when CBS picked Dick Thornburgh, Bush's attorney general, to investigate memogate it was like showing flashing lights over Area 51... Rather headed for the first train to Conspiracyville.
When will this come to trial? I question the timing and expect this to get more coverage with more fingers pointing at the "scary conservative blogs" than the scandals that are bubbling to the surface with Hillary.
Dan is being used. I await to see his Lawyers name and his connection with the Clinton camp.
Delusion + EGO are the only rational reasons because he doesn't need the money and if he was not delusional even his hatred of all things to the right wouldn't allow him to make such a fool of himself. I think he truly BELIVES those documents were the real thing

Kenneth does indeed know as Rather has been a party to manipulation and intel operations he was used in since his 60's Kennedy assassination false reporting.
This is what Rather probably has in his safe banking he can bluff the Rockefellers by hauling CBS into court and exposing them to humiliation "in order to get invited back into the CFR league of insiders".
Rather doesn't want money. He wants back in to manipulate people as he is shocked to have learned that he was a patsy and not a player all these years.
One can note that J. Edgar Hoover and even William Colby bluffed these people for only so long before they had "accidents" like Vince Foster. Rather can only push this so far as when the real powers start pushing back he is going to find out how alone he is.
As stated in another blog, smart people just shut up and go home when they are culled from the CFR herd. Rather is not that intelligent.
