Excellent President Bush, just excellent

What a shoe salesman!

The POPE says, GOD BLESS AMERICA!! Liberals/are/crazy/IranianUranium/<sleep>

Why the Dems get upset over

Why the Dems get upset over the truth is beyond me.

 "Abstain from McCain"

Yeah, all they had to do

Yeah, all they had to do was agree with him and they would have defused it.  But it hurt too much to not say what they really believe.  To whit, they ARE appeasers.

They just don't like getting called on it.

Head 'em out - Circle the Wagons!!!

Good Lord it was fun, watching the Democrats and Liberal Media circle the wagons today.  If I were Obama, I would have kept my mouth shut and not wanted to be associated with this one.  Instead, here come the Democrats in full defense mode with the media not far behind.  Hahahahahaha, it was hilarious.

They go out there and castigate the President, after Jimmy Carter goes and meets with Hamas in Syria, how dumb do they think people are, then again, is there anyone really paying attention?

Democrats: Stuck on Stupid since 2000.

Mr. Obama,

Mr. Obama, if what President Bush said isn't an accurate representation of what you believe, then why did you think that it was meant to be a representation of what you believe?

You were called to the carpet and exposed the moment you willingly put your name to a generalized comment. Your denial is all the proof we needed.

Once again, Bush demonstrates why he has time and time again smoked the supposed "intelligencia" in the political arena.

Geez, Bush didn't even have to put bait in the hole or cover it up with leaves for Obama to fall right in. And this guy wants to be president?

Just reading the speech

It was outstanding.  When i have a few minutes I'll go listen to his delivery.   If the American media were even a jot fair, this speech would have gotten better press.   That the Obamamedia took offense at such a vague reference, if even that, says to me that someone is smarting a bit from their own feelings of political impotency.    Is it just me or does it seem that the American media is hysterical with obamania?

Wasn't it interesting...

how Obama and the rest of his liberal flunkies IMMEDIATELY took offense at President Bush's comments concerning appeasement? If his comments were so off base and inaccurate, why did Obama so quickly assume that Bush was talking about him?? Because deep down Obama knows that Bush is right, and he called Obama on his own statements concerning talking to Iran (as well as others).

Me thinks he (Obama) protests too much!!!

BTW...Bush's speech was great!!!

Fred Thompson hit the nail

Fred Thompson hit the nail on the head this morning on "F&F". Ask yourself, who does the shoe fit?

Jimmy Carter is the first person to come to mind, followed closely by Nancy "Stretch" Pelosi. So far, Obama's stand is mere rhetoric. Carter and Pelosi have already qualified for the label "appeaser". It's the Dims themselves, along with the MsM,  who made it all about Obama. Funny. In a way, he ends up being the scapegoat, doesn't he. And funnier still if you understand the origins of the term "scapegoat" from the Old Testament.

I hear the Jews loved the speech. But why do some Jews vote democrat??

Good question, charlie. Can

Good question, charlie. Can anyone explain why the Jews in Israel respect Pres. Bush and his policies and the Jews in America seem to think differently? Is it merely a matter of perception?

Still president?!?

Wow!  I kinda forgot about W.  I guess he needs to take trips like this at taxpayers' expense and say stupid things to remind us he's in office for another few months.

As a liberal member of the DemocratIC party I'm completely psyched for November.  Either I'm going to enjoy a McCain win which will at least shutdown Gt'mo, act on global climate change, and enact fair immigration rules, OR... I can savor a DemocratIC win and see these and many more important changes for America implemented even sooner.

God Bless America - everyone, including even those with whom I disagree.  We should all be proud to be standing on the edge of a new day for our country!

Thanks for making my

Thanks for making my statement yet again, albeit from a somewhat different position.

Great!

The opinon of another dope! Close down Gitmo and spend millions to defend terrorists who should have been shot in the field.

"There are two types of people in this country; those who provide freedom and those who enjoy it." MM says...

Just out of curiosity

What do we do with the Gitmo prisoners?

What would you like to see done about Global Warming seeing as you're already using the NEW term?

What do you consider fair immigration rules?

What does that 'new day' look like to you?

And last but not least, WHAT do you consider stupid about this speech?

Wahoowzah

"...take trips like this at taxpayers' expense and say stupid things to remind us he's in office for another few months."

Yeah, just like Bill Clinton who, other than invite that degenerate pervert Yasar Arafat to the White House, didn't do jack with the situation in the Mideast until when....yeah, his last 90days in office.

Big trip to the Mideast. Somehow he came with away with Arab money. Go figure.

hey hoo ...

give us some historic examples of successful modern day socialism ... and then, how about some prime examples of how appeasement has ever worked.

... then, since you're a hoo ... and all smart and stuff ... explain why on earth we are rebuilding new orleans? according to your ilk, coastal cities will be underwater in 30 years and last time i checked, new orleans is still below sea level.

... and one last request. since you liberals are more in-tune with ... everything. explain how your side can talk radical islamists out of their belief in God and stop trying to kill all americans (including you) ... is obama allah in a senator's suit?

this hokie recommends you read a book instead of watching the tele ... try a translation of the al qaeda manifesto for starters ... you may come to realize that unless you convert to islam or pay a "jizya", they want to kill you too. please explain how love, hope and change is going to save your ass.

"

We are rebuilding NO because I have a LOT of friends their, yes I am that powerfull, but we thank you for your help. Please do not take this poorly, I just cant help it : ]

All of us down here really appreciate all that you folks have done for us, from the botton of our hearts, thank you.

Even if GW takes us out. ; ]

wahoowah72...

FYI...Your party's beloved President Clinton took the most trips out of the country "...at taxpayer's expense..." than any other president in history. And, for future reference, you might find a more sympathetic audience to share thoughts like yours with over at DailyKos.

Obama, and the dem party

Obama, and the dem party once again show why they are what folks used to call "titty babies".

These are supposed to be professional men and women who are there to do the people's work, and yet, if they feel the SLIGHTEST bit of insult the make a federal case out of it!

But Def Sec Gates and Condi Rice Have Said The Same

Gates and Rice have both said that dialogue with Iran is a good idea and something we should be doing more of.

I understand the political pat on the back Bush was trying to give to Israel in regard to fighting--not talking to-- intolerent regional enemies but it really didnt make any sense in a practical sense for the US. Plus his own hired help in his cabinent (and former cabinent in Colin Powell) all disagree with him. Bush deserves the criticism. Hes a nice guy but you have to agree to some extent he has been way over his head since 2001.

But Def Sec Gates and Condi Rice Have Said The Same

Have they? Where and when? I have no doubt your context is way off, but who cares right? BTW Powell wasnt much good for Bush, ever.

They have said it, but the

They have said it, but the difference is that those talks occur in the background at much lower levels, not granting some terrorist thug a sit down with the President of the United States of America.  There is a huge difference, one that the msm and Barrak don't seem to understand or want to recognize.

»→ Chose #1 of course

You can't recall the holocaust without mention of appeasement.

Obama's quickness to cry foul indicates he doesn't want his own and Jimmy Carter's brand of appeasement called into question.

Have the Dems cried "racist" on this one yet?

Absolute Home Run of a Speech

Finally, GWB reminds me why I voted for him. And it's absolutely hilarious that the Dems are up in arms about it.

Glenn Reynolds said it best here.

MEMO TO THE OBAMA CAMPAIGN: When somebody condemns appeasement, it doesn't help things to jump up and yell "Hey, he's talking about me!"

President Bush hit the target

The US Senator to whom the President was refering was a Republican Senator (whose name escapes me at the moment) who believed we needed to talk to Adolph Hitler and somehow convince him to stop his aggression in Europe. History bears out how well that idea worked.

Yet, what I find more interesting is how the Often Wrong Media connected the dots from the President's history lesson to a description of a policy position which the candidate they support espouses.

Democrats scream loudest when you tell the truth about their policy position by calling it an "attack".

So can we now refer to Obama as "Chamberlain McHitler?"

Stephen Colbert called Barack Obama a Time Traveling Nazi Muslim last night.

How about this

Rather than Senator Barak Hussien Obama, refer to him as Senator Barak "Camberlain" Obama. That tag would be more descriptive and effective.
