September 20, 2007 - 06:49 ET by sarcasmoEventual winners? The shysters hired by both sides, as usual.

September 20, 2007 - 07:25 ET by Macfire78I can't really say that I have a dog in this fight. But I've always wanted to know what the frequency was.

September 20, 2007 - 07:41 ET by lunaticcringeradioit's like watching the two cheats jeff gordon and jimmie johnson battling at the end. i hope they both hit the wall and crash and burn.
lets just say i hope dan gets more than a punch in the gut this time. after his last disgrace that took 30 years in the making, to see that old man beaten ferociously in the public arena, are you kidding i want that more than i desire to breathe.

Choices, choices
September 20, 2007 - 08:25 ET by HypocriteHaterWell I obviously don't want Dan to win and I know no matter how much we would enjoy it, there won't be a media circus, because the MSM will basically ignore this story. I was tempted to vote Kenneth, but he's an innocent third party in all this.
So that leaves me with voting for the lesser of 2 evils, CBS. I think it would be good for Dan to lose to his old employer. He needs a major smackdown!
The poll question was "who
September 20, 2007 - 23:17 ET by MikeBThe poll question was "who do you want to win?" You say Kenneth is an innocent third party in all this. If this is so, then he deserves to "win" more than either of the other two parties, yes? I am not sure how the media circus would win. If there is a media circus over this, the winners would be the American people. They would get to see exposed all the bias and lying going on in the "news" rooms in the networks in such a way that it will not be able to be ignored.

What's the frequency?
September 20, 2007 - 08:44 ET by Hero SquadI thought Jake Byrd at the OJ press conference yesterday would be the funniest thing I saw this week.
Then I saw "Kenneth" in your poll question. Classic!

September 20, 2007 - 08:45 ET by JayTeeThen I'm all for exposing once again the Dan prejudice, and exposing the "drive by media" techniques of non-investigative reporting, and the lack of depth to Journalists......Lets play it up again, and repeat until everyone gets the picture.

Kinda like the Iraq vs. Iran
September 20, 2007 - 09:05 ET by riff_raffKinda like the Iraq vs. Iran war. You're rooting for both sides to lose.
I dearly hope...
September 20, 2007 - 09:05 ET by heldmyw...that CBS decides not to cave to Rather, and releases an unexpurgated, unredacted timeline of events on TV and on the internet. Warts, hairs and all.
Forget court. Just give it all up to the court of public opinion. Kinko's, the nutball in Texas, the works.
Their coverup 'investigation' was as far as they felt they could go at the time.
Now? They're swirling so fast at the bottom of the toilet, they might just as well put up a fight, make a quick 'mea culpa' and kill Rather/Mapes et. al.
After all... Rather's whole life isn't worth 70 mil.

The only thing I'm rooting
September 20, 2007 - 12:18 ET by midnight cowboyThe only thing I'm rooting for is that all sides wind up as one giant ash heap.
Kenneth the frequency of Dan Rather is calling
September 20, 2007 - 12:41 ET by Lame CherryNo one seems to get the point of what this is really about. What this is about is Dan Rather has been shunned by the MSM liberals and he wants his reputation back. The only way Rather can do this is suing CBS to prove he was wrongfully terminated which means his forged papers were real.
Rather has already stated that "the story was real if the papers had problems" and that means Dan trusted part of his Armitage cartel flunkies as always reputable sources in a coup to bring down George Bush. Dan has literally stated he believes the White House pressured CBS into terminating him.........and it very well could have been part of the back stage deal Bush worked out that Rather would be fired in exchange for the DOJ not going after the group who forged the papers which was the Rockefeller cartel, elements of the CIA, fed to the DNC and the Kerry camp who "authenticated" it for Mary Mapes and Dan Rather.
Mapes found some wacko or legit source who had a bone to pick with Bush 43 and knew the details of Bush's service, but had no proof. It probably was some old sour puss General who got passed over and was forced into retirement telling his story to operatives of the Rockefellers and that is what generated it.
That is why my vote went for Kenneth. Kenneth was part of some strange intel plot that Dan Rather either stumbled into or was a breach from his past when Kennedy was assassinated and poor Dan saw nothing standing on a bridge where the Kennedy limo passed under. Rather would have had to have been blind to not see anything.......but his blindness soon got him a star role not in Texas but at CBS as a payoff.
The very people who elevated Dan Rather were forced to terminate him and this has ruined "his liberal reputation" and Rather wants it back........so much so he will bankrupt himself. These are dangerous waters Rather is treading in as it is the very ruling caste he is now banging on the doors trying to bring down.
The DOJ was ordered by Bush 43 to not investigate the Clinton teason and bribes just like the DOJ was ordered to not look into the Kerry skewing of the election when they reported Kerry won (Remember that little election tampering.) There are massive quid pro quo which goes on in this house of cards and if people start digging it all comes down.
Do not forget the GOP Congressman searching into the Clintons on 9 11 getting his offices raided by the IRS so he lost the election........to what is a continueing maccaca of Conservatives somehow being set up from George Allen to Larry Craig "in being exposed" and tossed out of office. This just doesn't happen by accident and there are efforts right now to remove Conservatives from government as they would stand in the way of the the Unified Ameirca of Canada, Mexico and the USA.
This is what Rather is poking his finger into in exposing the behind the scenes blackmail which both sides initiate in payoffs. It is the world of Kenneth and my rooting is for him, because the more he gets exposed the more this intel cartel mafia will be put on public trial and when that happens Americans win.
