News Channel Poll
September 11, 2007 - 15:04 ET by Gordon SchumwayWhy no Fox News Channel? There must be some sinister purpose if these are our only selections. I get more satisfaction from my Battlestar Galactica DVDs than these "news" outlets.
So say us all.

Trolls
September 12, 2007 - 10:13 ET by cassratI think this is a troll. Just like the earlier poll where they wanted us to select a DimocRAT for prez.
You can Lead a Liberal to an idea but you can't make him think!

September 11, 2007 - 15:06 ET by Casey97Funny my browser does not show Fox as an option. I will have to report this bias to NewsBusters.

With Democrat revisionist history and liberals guaranteeing the future (global warming, nuclear destruction, etc.) only the future is certain; the past is always changing.

September 12, 2007 - 07:19 ET by dscottI see you have been making the point of biased polls and more importantly the method of "de-selection" used by the MSM and their allies.
And people wonder why Katie Couric can spend more air time on a parrot than Hsu's political money laundering for the Clintons...
dscott's postulate: The degree to which someone exaggerates or deceives is inversely proportional to the merit of the advocated position.
Haha, funny, its a trick

Other than that, I don't watch the tabloid cable "news" stations (including Fox), OR the Broadcast News.
Need better choices!
September 11, 2007 - 15:11 ET by Conservative_in_mass.Whats with the poll choices lately? Dimocrat presidential candidates, now a choice of socialist newscasts...Help! I'm gonna be sick!

My News Source
September 11, 2007 - 15:13 ET by mattmI get most of my news from the radio and the internet. I watch a little local news, mainly for sports and weather.
What about FNC
September 11, 2007 - 15:13 ET by Tom in NCI would have voted but you left off the only cable news channel I watch, Fox News
Matt; There are no News
September 11, 2007 - 15:13 ET by bassndudeMatt;

September 11, 2007 - 17:09 ET by BradyMy sentiments too. At the very least the comedy channel should have been a choice.

September 12, 2007 - 16:08 ET by Conservative_in_mass.Last year I took a Spanish class with the spouse and watched a few of the programs to see how well I was learning. Well, the Mrs. soon figured out what the other motive for viewing was too!!!

The second poll that makes no sense
September 11, 2007 - 15:43 ET by ThisnThatThis is the second NB poll in the past few days that makes no sense to me. Why would I choose one of those channels? And why would I select a "prefered" Democratic candidate?
None of the above -- twice!

FOX NEWS is the only
September 11, 2007 - 15:44 ET by TheConservativeChemistFOX NEWS is the only channel I watch, except for CNN Headline News so I can catch Glenn Beck's show.
Otherwise sometimes I will watch the networks or other cable "news" channels just for a laugh or to shake my head in amazement at the lies and propaganda being spewed forth.

why not Foxnews on the poll????
Predictable Formats
September 11, 2007 - 16:19 ET by CaringwhiteguyThe formats, including that of the missing FOX, are all very predictable. Shouting, screaming, tabloid trashy. I must say each net has worked hard at having great looking babes with really short skirts. The award for best babes with the shortest skirts still goes to FOX. But all the rest is so predictable . . . . yawn.
Come on, what is this bull crap pole?
September 11, 2007 - 16:21 ET by CTThere's no News Channel in this pole, just propaganda.
I don't watch those Cable news....
September 11, 2007 - 16:23 ET by JayTeeI DO watch NB comments on what's going on, on those channels.
I DO watch Fox cable, and connect with Fox news on the Web, and occaisionally local news TV briefly, but never for a solid hour.
I DO listen to Radio news, and some of the Radio Talk shows.
The Alpha Bet channels don't need my Poll numbers, or just put me down for Zero.
I DO read the Wall Street Journal.

I've felt the same way in the last poll or 2...
September 11, 2007 - 16:53 ET by sarcasmoBut about NOTA. I probably watch Fox a tiny bit more than the others, but I'd probably still vote NOTA if given the choice.

Yikes, I suppose tomorrow
September 11, 2007 - 19:24 ET by HumanEventsYikes, I suppose tomorrow the poll will be:
Preferred Newspaper
* The New York Times
* The Washington Post
* USA Today
* The Los Angeles Times
* The San Francisco Chronicle
Well, for the preferred news channel I also either write in Fox News or vote NOTA.
And if my newspaper poll were to make it I yet again would proudly vote NOTA or else write in The Washington Times! And just as others have aptly pointed out that those are not news channels, these are likewise not newspapers. These are left wing propaganda periodicals.
Stop Broom-Hilda (a.k.a Hillary) in '08!
Scrap the Poll
September 11, 2007 - 19:39 ET by River CityI'm not voting in this one. I watch Fox. Even a "none of the above" would have worked if you didn't want to list FNC. Bloomberg isn't an option on Dish Network, is it?

I watch FNC and the Food
September 11, 2007 - 20:52 ET by terrigI watch FNC and the Food Network most of the time. Except on Tuesday nights when I watch A & E for "Dog the Bounty Hunter" because he's always tooling around Waipahu looking for criminals and West Loch Estates is the next neighborhood over in Ewa Beach. You know when I lived there I dogged the Dog because it made Hawaii look really crummy.
So, what's with these polls lately?
