He's on so much

I'm going to have to upgrade my remote, the "last" button is worn out.

I hope he fails, too.

Enough is enough~

He was on "Dancing with the Stars" last night. I'd say that's too much. ^_^

His own Reality Show

Is it true the new reality series "Barack and a Hard Place" is slated to replace "John and Kate Plus Eight".

George Lopez, too

I was flippin' channels and I swear, I saw him doing a commercial with George Lopez for that sit-com..., can someone confirm?

CarlosS

That would be an afirmative.  He did a spot with Lopez to promote Lopez's new talk show.  My wife showed me the spot because he was on the view promoting it and beaming about the Prez.

Liberalism: The haunting feeling that someone, somewhere, can help themselves.

Whew..., I'm relieved

I was concerned that the President of the United States might be shilling for a garden variety ethniclly-challenged sitcom..., but I looked it up.

The President of the United States was using his Presidential time wisely promoting a serious-minded talk show, and I quote:

"The main thing I want to do with this show is to attract a diverse audience who will come and have a party every night."

Personally, he should be on

Personally, he should be on more, since Obama doesn't have his magic anymore. It only helps our side now.

“There are no easy answers' but there are simple answers. We must have the courage to do what we know is morally right.” - Ronald Reagan (1964 Republican Convention)

Ditto - I think he should

Ditto - I think he should be on 24 hours a day. I don't watch anyway.

Only two forms of government? Find out why... http://www.flixxy.co...

Hmmmm, I think you are

Hmmmm, I think you are right.  He should keep putting his face on TV.  Then the image will be burned into voters minds just like you have an image burned into your tv screen if you keep it on the same channel all the time.  And come election time people will vote him out just so they don't have to see that image anymore.

It confirms that they are losing and desperately seeking a way to turn things around.

We need to stop calling them "Progressives" when in reality they are big government "Socialists" who no longer value the individual's rights to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.

So just me, and one other

So just me, and one other person thinks that only right-leaning folks think Barry's on the "boob" tube too much, huh? (For once I just wanted to skew the results of the poll and someone beat me to it!)

J? Try "mute." That works for me.

Mute works, however...

It leaves that mug silently flapping in 58" HD plasma glory.  Sheesh.

"Last" is better....yesterday it flipped me to the Urban Meyer show, woo hoo!    Ah...just now I got Emeril on "last".

I only wish Obama knew how badly he gets heckled...my mom hollers at him (oh....I just heard that from her room..."Ugh, Obama's on again!!).

I hope he fails, too.

LOL J

I'm fortunate, I work at home, on my laptop, and my tv is behind me. Its funny, I have the exact same reaction (hit mute!) if Springstein comes on the radio...

I can see watching a muted Obama speech with "Born To Run" being the audio.

Re NOTUS

I'm leaning toward HIC, Halfrican-in-Chief.

True.  He never will

True.  He never will apologize.  For defending his "right" to reshape and remake this Nation.  He sure won't.

I am Obama.  I do not apologize, (except to the world), and I do not make mistakes.  Obey me.  Now.

But did you see how tough I talked to the UN?  Even now I know that Chris Matthews just wet himself.

Indiana Joe...I wonder, however, if I did sign-on with Obama, would I get my name changed to something cool like, "Locutus"?  And would I get a CD player grafted to my head?  Maybe a coffee maker?

Resistance is futile, indeed.

Auto-Mute

Mute button warning: his UN assembly teleprompting just began.

I've been thinking about a possible product, an auto-muter. It would be a little box that would listen to the audio output of your TV, and could recognize a voice and quickly send the IR command to your TV to mute, and then unmute when the voice ends. Don't know if voice recognition could be done that quickly, and I believe voice recognition is very software intensive, so it might be difficult to do for a reasonable price. I think about $50 and something the size of a typical remote would be a target, and a difficult target to meet.

Maybe someday TVs will come with that feature.

While you're at it, slick

(and I only require a small license fee for it)....

How about a command that would turn down the commercials to the volume of the television show one is watching?    It drives me absolutely insane when the commercial comes on at twice the volume.  In surround sound, it's enough cause pain.

You'd sell millions, truly.

I hope he fails, too.

Oh, Blonde,

How many times I've wished for that little gizmo.  I thought my friend had it, and it turns out to be an auto volume stabilizer gizmo on his surround sound receiver.

While we're inventing:  let's invent a remote control for those teleprompters, where we could push a "delete" button, and it'd instantly go blank.  I think I'd really like to see "Tha One" winging it on a moment's notice (or no notice at all).

Uhh...

the only words that would come out of his mouth would be "uhh uhh uhh hope and change, uhh uhh uhh transparancy and accountability, uhh uhh uhh tax and spend democrats (i inserted this one myself cause i wish he'd own up to what he is). Stuttering and stammering all the way thru a non-scripted speech is all he can do. This just gives more relevance to the accusation that he is a puppet for the hard over left and has no original ideas of his own. I wonder if Saul Alinsky's phantom hand is getting tired of controlling all of these left wing politicians.

How about running the

How about running the teleprompter text directly to the captioning feature on our TVs?  You could do it as option.  "For Spanish - Type 1" "For BHO Bravo Sierra - Type 2"

There would of course have to be disclaimers indicating "Funding for this service being provided by GE, Soros, ACORN, NEA, UN, etc."

"Fighters are fun but bombers make policy"

Boomer & Buff

Just goes to show ya.....NB'ers are an inventive lot!

All excellent ideas.  BHO BS-Type2, turning off TOTUS (poor TOTUS).

I hope he fails, too.

Vizio already sells it

I just bought a new HD widescreen from Vizio and it does just that, it levels volume to the program when commercials come on. They call it SRS TruVolume eliminates volume inconsistencies between programming.

 I love it.

Smart sound

A tv with the " smart sound feature " will solve your problem.

Here's a Yahoo link to AP's report on his speech.

"In an era where our destiny is shared, power is no longer a zero-sum game," Obama said. "No world order that elevates one nation or group of people over another will succeed. That is the future America wants."

Sorry, he doesn't speak for ME. This is not "my voice." I really don't want to be on the same level as, say, Somalia.

Americans worked hard to get where we are. To say we're no different or no better than any other nation is... well, not very patriotic in my book.

I guess he's announcing the end of "American Exceptionalism."

(PS: Wait a minute. "That is the future American wants." What does he mean? The "future" where no country is better than any other? Or the opposite? Yeah, I think I know what he means, but shouldn't that line have then been "That is NOT the future America wants?" I think my former English teachers would have corrected him.)

"Four legs good... two legs better!" - George Orwell

He that's what "America" wants.

That is different from what the CITIZENS OF THE UNITED STATES want.

But, it is just another way of telling the wolrd that he IS going to drag this nation down to the bottom to sorta balance things out a little.

In it's own way I guess it will work out for the best.

In thirty years all the third world countries will be sparsely populated due to illnesses that cannot be cured because there is not United States to PROVIDE the help they need.

The sheeple in this country will finally figure out that FREEDOM IS NOT FREE and start the new revolution.

Kind of a reversal on a

Kind of a reversal on a tried-and-true statement that goes:

"If you can't baffle them with bulls**t, dazzle them with brilliance."

Obama is charming, to be sure.  His appearance on Letterman showed he has a dry sense of humor.  However, we need a President, not a witty stand-up comic.

LSM= All Obama, all the time.

Loss of dignity

Who can distinguish something important from the drivel anymore?

I think he's diluting presidential power by being on air so much.

Speak little, and people will listen. Blab endlessly and no one will tune in or hear you.

I say, let him blather.

You're right, John.  He painted Israel as the lonely wildebeast at the watering hole.

I had to change the channel at work when Soetoro was on TV, was watching the weather channel, flipped back and forth to see if he was done.

Seems there was a bit of a protest because Qaddafi is coming on after him.  Seeing him come after Soetoro is real icing on the cake.  Seems he's complaining about the UN, how they took no action since it came into being and 65 wars broke out since.  I guess this is another example of a broken clock being right twice a day again.

He's not my president anymore, no wait he hasn't been (BC)...

..an (enormous) error was made in 2008

don't forget

With liberty and justice for all, and we're seeing anything but with him and his dhimmi-crats.

Once I heard about him being a foreigner, I never accepted him as "my president" and refuse to call him by his O name unless someone doesn't know who I'm talking about.

Hell, his wife calls him Barry and that was his other name, Barry Soetoro.

We're a nation of collective individuals with differences to be celebrated and enjoyed and be allowed to flourish, not penalized, persecuted and homogenized.  We're not like Chavez's Venezuela where everyone's "The Same."  Capitalism is what makes this country great, not socialism where freedom is restricted(on any front) and success is met with disdain and class envy rears its ugly head.

-Jon

I'm torn

I think yes he is on television too much but the media cannot help ITself.  However, going on that much is making people sick and tired of him..SO KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK MEDIA.

Didn't they make the same charge against Bush?

Didn't the left make the same charge against Bush for holding too many press conferences?  I think each succeeding President since the advent of television, has used it more. Can anyone give an example of a President that has used it less than his predecessor?

I think John McCain would have been worse for the country than Barack Obama - Glenn Beck

No. As I recall they said

The "Mainstream" Media: By liberals. For liberals.

SOBama on TV so often

is almost like an audiance watching a movie and having fast flashing pictures continue to flash at speedy intervals until those watching don't notice any more and become comfortable with the immage.

A form of brain washing. I think he is being turned off more and more and that is a good thing.

It is the opposite of what he and his handlers had hoped for.

So let the SOB in cheif speak all the time.

Speaking of Glenn Beck

HE seems to want a third party.

I think he is lost emotionally.

A third party would insure the Third Reich

That's one of my problems

That's one of my problems with Beck. He identifies a problem but offers very little in the way of solutions, except to say that politicians need to be "honest with us". He also has a tendency to over stretch blame from liberal Democrats onto all Republican politicians so he can maintain his "a pox on both your houses" independence. I know that there were some Republicans who lost their way, but they, as an entire party, even on their worst day, aren't as culpable as the Democrats.

The "Mainstream" Media: By liberals. For liberals.

Gone are the days

Alas, gone are the days of wine, women, and oligarhies :D

I think John McCain would have been worse for the country than Barack Obama - Glenn Beck

Re Third Party

A third party the hard way, from the ground up, would do some good. Come up with candidates for Congress in at least 20% of the seats and we'll talk. That's a party.

A third party the easy way, simply where some overinflated and too-rich ego runs for President, comes in third and guarantees the election of the party at the other end of the spectrum. Ross Perot gave us Bill Clinton, but George Wallace gave us Richard Nixon, so it works both ways.

One person does not a party make.

Obama: appearing forever on a TV near you

Imagine Obama getting in your face on a TV near you! Forever. (Apologies to Orwell.)

When voters went to the polls last year, who knew they were voting in a Narcissist-in-Chief?

Well, most of us conservatives on Newsbusters for many. The first sign of madness in the rich and powerful is when they believe their own publicity some shill made up for them.

Obama is merely a brand. From Day 1 he has been created, marketed and sold as brand.

And as a brand, his people have bought crook, lies, and sinking polls the siren Coca Cola strategy -- never let up, never become invisible.

But the real thing about coke is this -- many people LIKE a cold caffeine imbued drink daily.

The constant advertising is not to convice them they need a cold soda... it's to make sure they choose Coca-Cola as opposed to... that other brand.

You can only sell something people are interested in buying. And no amount of exposure is going to turn that around.

That's THE FIRST RULE OF ADVERTISING. Well, one of them. There are many first rules in advertising. It's an imprecise art.

Fortunately for conservatives (and presumably Republicans) Obama'a inner circle jerk can't acknowledge that verity.

Hence the continuation of Obama's really SMART strategy (they're all so smart) of appearing on TV 24/7/365.

But this is just nuts... his skeddie for the rest of next week includes PRODUCT PLACEMENT guest appearances in...

HOUSE -- Locked up in the nut house, House's life can't get any worse until he finds he's under the care of a certain "Dr Obama." But is he hallucinating?

FRINGE -- Returning from the alternate universe where the twin towers are still standing, Special Agent Olivia Dunham is partnered with a cool black guy who bears a striking resemblance to a certain black President.

MAD MEN -- When the non-speaking black elevator guy leaves for Selma, his cool cousin Barack from Chicago steps in to push those white buttons.

FAMILY GUY -- Stewie is given a "Grow Your Own Obama" kit. Imagine his surprise when the actual President appears and gets the hots for his white cartoon mom.

TRUE BLOOD -- The fey gay, vamp-blood supplying Lafayette discovers his internet pen pal is none other than Barack Obama.

Okay I made those up... or did I?

Liberal nutjobs shouting 'racist conspiracy' to anyone criticising Barack Obama are all WACKY... RACERS

COPS

next on COPS - "The One that Got Away", a mysterious driver of a white Bronco w/ tinted windows runs from the police in a wild chase throught the streets of D.C.  The chase comes to an end in front of the White House.  Obama emerges from the Bronco, jumps the fence, and hides behind Michelle who proceeds to give the police a long, loud 'what-for'.

I found one flaw.

He's an ARAB/Caucasian.

Zero associations with the descendants of slaves.  Schooled in Indonesia, and upper middle class schools.  Attended college with federal funding as a "foreign student", etc.

His ancestors sold their ancestors into slavery.

Too much Obama on TV???

In fact, we have too much Obama everywhere.

I put unsure since, the

I put unsure since, the real choice IMO is not available:

NO, Let President Obama run his mouth all he wants, the more he talks the more examples of lying he provides the public, the more his credibility takes a hit as each lie is exposed. This is why ObamaCare is going down in the polls, the public is tired of the lies.

The secret to successful lying is to only lie once in a great while thus giving the Imprimatur of telling the truth.  Barack Obama is a serial liar like Joe Biden, he opens his mouth and removes all doubt.

Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid, starving the poor one gallon of ethanol at a time. Fill your tank with E85 and cull a village.

I want to see him on more.

I want to see him on more. 1)It helps. And, 2) I know how to change channels.

HAHAHAHAHA. HEHEHE. I didn’t even know about it. Um. So, you’ve got me at a loss. I don’t know. (Charles Gibson of the dead media.)

I'm wondering when Comedy

I'm wondering when Comedy Central is going to have the following TV shows:

  • That's my 'Bama!
  • Little 'Bama

"President Obama is learning on the job and it shows."  --Boris Epshteyn

Great Thought!

I remember when Comedy Central thought "Lil Bush" was so hilarous. To me, "Lil Bamy" is providing way more fodder on a daily basis for a comedy show.  I bet no one at Comedy Central has the cojones to dare parody the chosen one, except for Trey Parker and Matt Stone, the creators of South Park.

Of course he's on TV too

Of course he's on TV too much, but he's so lacking in critical self-awareness that he's deluded himself into believing that the people are always seeking encores...so he'll continue giving "command performances".  Alinsky, Jr. repeatedly going to the well to blame the Bush Administration for the problems he created reminds me of that scene in Spinal Tap when the band ran into the rock star flavor-of-the-month in the hotel: "We had to apologize for him with our set.  They were still booing him when we were on stage."

"I spent a lot of money on booze, birds and fast cars. The rest I just squandered."  -George Best

Keep him on TV

Keep him on tv. Slowly but surely people that voted for him are now asking themselves, why did I vote for him? The more he talks the better understanding people are getting as to what he really is. They are not happy.
