This is a no brainer. The media has a clear objective -- promote the welfare of all women, beginning in the U.S., and expanded everywhere. They have clear examples of how to do this promotion:
Congragulations and promotion of Bill Clinton -- a clear example of how to treat all women everywhere. In fact, didn't Bill become our "First Women President"?
Protection of people like John Edwards. Why publicize transgressions when the cost of ink and broadcast time is so expensive and needs to be used to bash Republicans?
And now, the slandering of the 2nd (but most realistic) female VP candidate. The lies and distortions about her are things that NOW have been fighting for for decades. They must be so proud.
Job well done, MSM. And don't worry about all those spurious charges of bias and double standards coming your way. None of these comments come from your leftist and marxist buddies, so I'm sure they don't mean a thing -- especially to your ever-decreasing readership and viewership. Easily the biggest story about Governor Palin should be her 80+% approval rating. That is absolutely unheard of, and is the biggest difference between her and every other politician this year. What is the approval rating of the congress that Barack Obama, John McCain and Joe Biden belong to? It's 9%.
There has been virtually no reporting of her approval rating, and absolutely no analysis of it. Why is she so popular in Alaska?
The notion that the media has treated Sarah Palin in a sexist way is wrong. Rather, they deliberately set out to belittle, mock, and downgrade her in anyway they could and this was all about rank gutter politics and has nothing to do with anything as complicated as sexism.
They've certainly used Palin's sex as an easy hook to denigrate her...painting her as a bimbo, beauty queen, etc. while discounting her accomplishments.
Remember, they went after Hillary too (sorry to bring this up, but HRC's cleavage?). But the manner in which they've gone after Sarah Palin has been obscene in its viciousness. I believe when all is said and done, "Palin" will become a verb, just like being "borked".

We chatted a little about politics the other day and she said the not even her hometown newspaper was supporting her. I told her it was interesting especially since she has an 80% approval rating in AK. She had NOT heard that. If you are not going to do your own research, you are going to get stuck with the somethi9ng you may really not want. And by "you" I mean We the People.
I think that their rancid attacks have done two balancing things:
1) swayed the lazy to be against Gov. Palin based on MSM lies
2) fired up PUMAs and others based on this horrid treatment
I'm not sure if its a wash or if it'll tilt the numbers sufficiently for McLame/Palin. I certainly hope so. I was not going to vote at all this time around (first time in decades), but Gov. Palin is an inspiration of level headed conservatism. How can I not go out and vote for her?
