I'll Learn All I Need To Know Online
August 25, 2008 - 15:15 ET by geoff.galeWhy waste any of my time watching something that's just designed to make me angry and frustrated? I do have better things to do. I'll get all the information I need to know about the DNC via the internet anyway.

August 26, 2008 - 17:22 ET by addeigloriamI agree... Thanks to Newsbusters for watching so that we don't have to.
I Don't Need To Watch
August 25, 2008 - 15:18 ET by mbs6Watching will only add stress to my life that I don't need. Also, I already know everything they're going to say before they say it. It would be an utter waste of my time.

August 25, 2008 - 15:27 ET by HumanEventsNone of it at all. I never watch any of the Dem Convention. Not in 2004, 2000, 1996 or 1992. I can't stomach it.
I'll hear all the deceptions and phony lines and lies and ludicrous statements via talk radio and the internet (like Newsbusters, of course!).
Just like in '96 I certainly heard the clip of that lying Algore acting all sad and saying how when his sister died of lung cancer in 1984 he vowed to do all he could to protect children from the dangers of smoking. But we know in 1988, 4 years after she died, Algore was bragging about all he had done as Senator of Tennessee to promote tobacco. He hoed it, chopped it, spiked it and sold it! But at least Algore invented the internet so I don't have to watch liars like him on televison.

August 25, 2008 - 15:27 ET by iconoclastI just have to watch the Bill and Hillary speeches. Especially Hillary's. I'm interested to see how the crowd reacts to them, and to see how many times they covertly shove the knife into Obama.I know, I'm a sick puppy. lol
Other than that, I'll watch FOX recaps and such. That's it
"we should immediately give every working family in America a
$1,000 energy rebate, and we should pay for it with part of the record
profits that the oil companies are making" Barak Obama, Communist

August 25, 2008 - 17:25 ET by Indiana JoeI still think there's a chance for a mutiny. From what I've heard, there are still LOTS of angry Hillary voters out there. AND:
She never actually conceded.
She hasn't released her delegates.
Her name will be placed in nomination.
They've decided to give full votes to MI and FL.
Now, throw in Obama's sliding poll numbers, and an appeal to the "super-delegates" (for the good of the party, if not the country). It wouldn't take much of a push, the stage is definitely set for a little Clinton "magic."
Now, THAT would be worth watching!

August 25, 2008 - 20:03 ET by bigtimerIJ...
I feel the same way...it is going to be very interesting...even if she does get behind Obama albeit grudgingly, she will do what she needs to do to stay in party and still retain major power/credibility, she knows full well there are a lot of people who are NOT going to support Obama...period.

Because they take your money, the lights flash on and off, and make a lot of noise and gives you nothing back in return
The thought.....
August 25, 2008 - 16:06 ET by MOONSTRUCKof watching and listening to the largest hypocrit gathering here on planet earth makes my eyes and ears bleed. I can only tolerate barry for about 1 to 2 seconds. About how long it takes me to hit the mute button!

August 25, 2008 - 16:23 ET by TjexciteI will just watch some, for and if when the snipers show up. And if any moonbats outside actually make it inside to disrupt from within. It will be like watching a slow motion crash.
How much does it cost for some moonbats to buy off some delegates to get their seats.
Doh!
August 25, 2008 - 16:25 ET by DontFeedTheTrollsI was hoping Comcast would carry the 'Riot Channel' but, as usual, they aren't being customer friendly.

Leach is a RINO
August 25, 2008 - 16:43 ET by nkviking75Leach was always a RINO in a district that included the liberal hotbed of Iowa City, home of the U. of Iowa. Even so, a Democrat knocked him out of office in the last election. He should change his party and get it over with.

Now I have it to the comedy team of Matthews/Olbie...talking to Gregory who is saying that they are going to try tonight to put the pieces of the puzzle together about who Obama is out here for the American people....blah blah blah... I'm not turning it back until Pelosi starts...then on to Michelle...that is it for me. (I think)

August 25, 2008 - 17:01 ET by bradbenj5952I already know everything I need to know about the DNC, watching them won't make a difference. Any group of people who support murdering babies has already revealed who and what they are. It matters not what else they are for. If they cannot see the simplest of truths, then what are they going to do with other issues? Some would call me a one issue voter. I say nay, I am a voter who happens to value human life more than the typical mundane issue with which politicians concern themselves. If a politician does not have enough wisdom and judgment the understand that murdering the most innocent is an abomination, then anything else they have to say is worth less than nothing.

August 25, 2008 - 17:08 ET by KJ_sezI won't be watching any of this week-long Marxist TV disinfomercial. I almost threw a bottle through the tube when I had to watch msnbc commercials during the Olympics, touting themselves as "the best political coverage anywhere", featuring Matthews and Blubbermann. I'm so sick of B. Hussein Obama's mug and voice, I swear that if he's elected, I'll never directly listen to word one of a speech, interview, pronouncement, or news story about him in what will be four of the most miserable years in this country since that idiotic, dimwitted peanut farmer was in office.
I don't know
August 25, 2008 - 17:08 ET by acumenBased on past DNC experiences I'm kind of turned off. I still get nightmares about Algore and Tipper's past attempt to break the Guinness world record for longest politically-motivated kiss.
Maybe I'd watch if there was some hope Dan Courage Rather might get pummeled on the convention floor again this year.

August 25, 2008 - 18:21 ET by Tom in NCIf there was a way to edit out all the lies, propaganda, insults towards Conservatives, self-aggrandizing and Chris Matthews getting tingles down his leg then the convention broadcast would only last an hour, tops

Kennedy stab at Hillary
August 25, 2008 - 21:16 ET by OneZeroDid anyone catch the part of the Kennedy tribute film that addressed health care? It had Sen. John Kerry and others praising Ted about how he created SCHIP and many other health care programs. It sounded like he was trying to take the wind out of Hillary's sails since the campaigned on all of the same health care issues as her own.
Maybe I am reading too much into this, but I thought the Obama campaign was bringing Teddy in to take some of the spotlight off the Clintons and this was just another attempt at pouring salt on the wound.
