How many people here besides me think this was probably all a staged event? I'll fully agree that he advocates a wide variety of proven-stupid policies which increase the size & scope of an already-obese government, but IMO Jesse's just not that stupid.

If I thought Jackson was an idiot, I'd be able to believe he'd make a stupid remark like that on mic and in enemy (Fox News...) territory. But I can't make myself believe Jesse's being stupid instead of conniving this time, so the more I think about it, the more I think it's got to be staged by Jesse. He has little reputation left to lose at this point, and it's a way of getting media attention onto Jesse Jackson & off the other guy with the cute young kids.

I'm wondering what gospel Jackson preaches to allow him to say something like that. No clergy I listen to would stoop so low.
If this were a Republican, it would have been front and center for days. What clergy goes around saying he wants to cut someone's nuts off? If John Hagee said that about John McCain, he would have been ostracized. If the Pope said that about Cardinal Egan, there would be media attention for days. But let a black, liberal "clergy" say it and it's a non-issue.

He's not some undercover agent for another Gov. And what's so bad about becoming smarter and more well read? You don't have to learn Spanish, he may be imploring you but let's face it, you aren't being forced and neither are your children.

I spent a few years in Europe, and those who spoke english were few and far between. Sure, they teach english in schools and the kids learn to say "fork" "spoon" "knife", but his assertion that the europeans that come to the US all speak english is flat out wrong.

Starting out in Los Angeles, you could travel that far, and even further, and not have the need for any language except English [yet]. Having your child learn a second language is a personal choice, not something someone else has any right telling a parent they need to make sure their child does.

I didn't get the chance to see O'Reilly last night but I heard that they were not going to show the whole tape because it was too provocative or something like that.
Can someone fill me in? Why would Fox not play the entire tape? I believe that they would have if it was a white person saying something about Obama.
I heard the reason the didn't play the rest of the tape was because it wasn't pertinent to this remark...blah blah blah...
To others who think this was staged...I don't think so myself...Jackson got caught....plain adn simple, he is a rude crude racist shyster among other things IMO...plus he knew about this tape being out there before Fox released this, supposedly talked to Obama knowing this all the time about other matters...before apologizing...
