Hey its 50/50 due to the fact there are only 2 votes, lol or were when I started this post. I believe some actually believe that conservatives inflame the arguments and cause in part the killings. Most in the MSM are a bit smarter to understand that people are going to do what they do and it doesnt matter what anyone says.
I think, deep down inside, they know that is not true.....(but since they spend their time telling lies, it probably wouldn't bother them to spread this one).
“There are no easy answers' but there are simple answers. We must have the courage to do what we know is morally right.” - Ronald Reagan (1964 Republican Convention)
I think basically none to very few. I think the very few that do are diehard enough to be the ones that reside in the media and on internet message boards, so their minority is vastly overrepresented. Many liberals, (I know this is treasonous language) tend to be fairly level headed for the most part, with occasional exceptions in politics.
Those that believe this crap are the kind of people who like to anger people with there politics and start fights. They use this as their counterargument because they tend to be politically uninformed (a key component of liberal ideology, the check box for it is right next to "I believe in unicorns" on the application for being a democrat).
The looney left can't deal with facts so they have to resort to character assasination. Their left-coast, bleeding-heart, 'do as I say, not as I do', pompous, arrogant and reckless form of yellow journalism is one reason these lib networks are floudering in the ratings!
I am waiting for them to pin the shooting of the Democratic chairman in Little Rock on a Republican - hang on, gang - it's coming!

After all, the liberal-left view violence as a legitimate means to an end. Consider their plans for "Re-create '68", a recreation of the violent protests at the 1968 Democratic convention. It's only natural for them to blame conservatives of fomenting violence as a misdirection of their own violent mind-set.
... is the answer. Just like they know that Iraq is nothing like the Russian invasion of Georgia (the later is really about oil), or "failed foreign policy. But, the MSM will report it for political expedience just the same because it rallies the gullible.
My first thought is just like a lot of these comments so far: The answer is basically none.
The media libs are smart enough to know better. They do this because their shame knows no bounds when it comes to wanting to manipulate Americans to embrace liberalism and forsake conservatism. They can't win on the merits of the issues so they resort to disgusting tactics like this.
Many parallel examples can be given like with their failure to report on the Edwards scandal and their ignoring positive news in Iraq. And if John McCain or any Republican ever really did come out and say the make believe racial things that Obama despicably claimed they did (like "Did I mention he's black?" and "He doesn't look like those other presidents on the dollar bills") I am 100% convinced that the lib media would be outraged on the outside but ecstatic on the inside. They'd be like, "Yes! I'm so glad a Republican said this! Now we can put on our scowling faces and pretend to be irate in order to use this big time in Obama's election victory chances!"
I would say that very few actually believe this, but most will claim that they believe it. After all, groupthink is hard to overcome, especially amongst the media types, as peer pressure can be extremely harsh on your self-esteem. Since most media types thrive on self-esteem (you can‘t effectively address the public without a high level of self-esteem. Just ask anyone, like myself, who gets VERY self-conscious when asked to address a large group in person. That can be down-right disabling.), they'll bow to groupthink and pubically agree with the majority even if they personally disagree. Birds of a Feather, and all that.
The state of discourse in this country has gone from "I'm right and you're wrong" to "I'm right and you are just an evil bas*ard for lieing about the inhernet justice of my position".
I think this has a negitive impact on peoples thinking.
I don't believe any of them believe it, that doesn't stop them from saying it. It's obvious, they can say many things they don't really believe. Just in case you're not paying attention, watch what they start saying about Obama, in the weeks ahead.
