The answer has to be actually closer to 90% since that's the percentage of MSM members who are Democrats.  Their purpose in the media is to promote the Democrat agenda.  They feel they can best do this by feigning objectivity, so they would never publicly admit they slant their reporting to the Left...but privately (unless they are delusional) they have to know the press is "Liberal", not merely see it as such.

Side note:  Theire Liberal/Democrat philosophy must be pretty crappy, seeing as how they have controlled the schools and the media for over 50 years, yet they can't manage more than 50% of the vote in a presidential race!  It can't be the result of their message not getting out - therefore it must be the content of their message that sucks.

If the Conservative/Libertarian view were the dominant one in the schools and the media, I believe you'd see a much different picture.
