I do believe that without the balance you give to the "drive-by" media all my TVs, radios and other media devices would be broken due to the white hot rage I feel when watching delivered by people from places like NBC, ABC, CBS, etc. etc.

Addictive like I tell all new posters, a wealth of information, always help from others if need be, a great place to get away from the non-stop leftist B.S., even if you are a political junkie like me, it is a place to go to vent, rant express your point of view with others...let alone you think of NB's if you are gone and hear something you know you want to see if has been posted or mentioned, or mention it yourself with a link or without one.
I have learned to use the PC to quite an extent because of coming here and others helping me being isolated as I am....still am.
I thank goodness for NB's, glad I got kicked off of Freeper's...then I heard Rush speaking about NB's on a show on my static radio at the time ....
Been here ever since!

Soon after I signed on I went through Katrina. As soon as I was able to get back on line, you guys gave me a place to vent the frustrations I had with false media reports I heard. And a chance to tell what I saw actually going on while the media was unwilling to get out of their Canal Street and French Quater hotel rooms.
There was some good old days back then. But you guys keep getting better.
Thank you all for what you do. And thanks to all the people who add their own wisdom.
And even the trolls. They keep us checking facts.

If I ever see Al, I'm gonna tell him to keep talking. Seems every time he tries to tell me about global warming, it rains and the temp doesn't quite break the century mark. We've usually got about 12 days of 100+ by now and I don't think we've seen one yet.
Those Pygmies under the mulberry have got me a little concerned, though.

This thread came along a week too soon. I had already planned to make a huge, self-involved thread about crossing the 52 week threshold. Oh well, maybe next year.
I honestly cannot remember my initial voyage to NewsBusters. I'm sure, like most of us, it gradually slipped into the rotation and I eventually started drinking the Kool-Aid.
I will say this, the success of NB is no coincidence. Not only do the editors and writers do a top-notch job, but it is my opinion that the NB membership contains one of the deepest intellectual pools in the blogosphere. That combination is extremely hard to cram into a business plan. Congratulations is in order.
