December 26, 2007 - 21:14 ET by xfastIt will be the same. All the players in the media are set. With the campaigns starting WAY too early this election cycle, we've already seen the claws come out. It may become more pointed though once all the infighting on Fox is done for the Republicans, and the infighting on NBC, CBS, ABC, PBS, NPR, CNN, MSNBC, New York Times, Boston Globe, Newsweek, and Time Magazine is done for the Dems. It will become more directed at the other party once the candidates are set. But the amount of it will not be any worse IMO. Unless a 25th hour is added to each day of 2008.

I would say they'll be about
December 26, 2007 - 21:46 ET by GregEI would say they'll be about the same, but here I have to say "more biased" because of the year being a presidential election year. Having more stories to run on a single topic (especially since that topic is a presidential election), the bias will be there more often than a 'normal' year. Not that 2007 was normal, because it was already in election fever (perpetual motion nowdays, to America's detriment), but once the two major party candidates are in stone, the bias almost unreal. Go to Costco and get a case of duct tape in preparation.

December 26, 2007 - 21:47 ET by Lame CherryIt seems impossible but it will have to be more as it is an election year and this is the year to cement the North American Union and make America submit to the globalist agenda.
Put it this way, there is not going to be allowed any Hugo Chavez loosing his own election while committing fraud in the United States.
Tim Johnson and the fake Indian votes in South Dakota are the perfect example of what is in store.
Do not be surprised if Chris Matthews jumps from his chair and stabs someone with a pen.......the someone would be Hillary Clinton.

December 26, 2007 - 22:15 ET by Chris NormanYou bet they do. And they've spent the last few years perfecting the methods to do so. "Macacca" was just a test...
Most definitely MORE biased
December 26, 2007 - 22:21 ET by HumanEventsMost definitely MORE biased in 2008 for three reasons:
(1) Yes, a presidential election year. So the media will be going out of their way to put the Democrat in The White House.
(2) The Dragon Lady will likely be the Democrat candidate. So the media will REALLY REALLY REALLY be going out of their way to put the Democrat in The White House
(3) Each year the media keeps moving further to the left. (2007 was more biased than 2006, 2006 was more biased than 2005, etc. So the trend should continue in 2008. And I see a permanancy in this. So 2009 will be even more liberally biased, 2010 will top that, then 2011 will be even worse than 2010, etc.
And in 2004 John sKerry ran the most vicious scampaign ever. Well, Hellary will make sKerry look nice by comparison. Out of one side of her mouth she'll make a big stink over the TINIEST little thing the GOP candidate says about her (like if he says, "With all due respect Senator, you didn't answer the question") while out of the other side of her mouth she will make the most vicious, ugly, venomous bile against the GOP candidate.
DEFEAT THE SHE-DEVIL IN 2008!
About the same
December 26, 2007 - 22:23 ET by steamboatHow could they be more biased? Silly question! I guess I should never underestimate a liberal.
I cannot imagine it either
December 27, 2007 - 01:18 ET by HermanoI cannot imagine it either, but I have been surprised in the past.
I recognize the quote.
December 26, 2007 - 22:33 ET by FedUpWithPCThere was a game called "Zero Wing" in the 80s, where if you died the badly translated phrase "All your base are belong to us" appeared on the screen. The quote above is obviously lifted from that.

December 26, 2007 - 22:34 ET by ConservativeRexI am not sure how you can be more than totally biased, but they will find a way to exceed that.

Admired woman, Why?
December 26, 2007 - 23:28 ET by ScrapironOld, Retired and glad of it. Shrillary Billary is one of the most admired people. By who, and why. Surely there aren't that many women that admire someone that lets their husband trample them like a stray dog. Maybe the women who admire her are preparing for their lack of a life under Islam where women are treated on the level of a broken piece of furniture on it's way to the dump. I never thought American women would accept that type treatment. Proves I don't know much about women out of my family where mistreating any woman will get your nose broken by the woman or another male member of the family.

December 27, 2007 - 02:23 ET by RESTLESS 1I voted about the same. I can't see how they can be more biased.
Definately more biased
December 27, 2007 - 09:48 ET by Mark_for_SenateFor those thinking they can't be more biased, you haven't seen anything yet! For the past 6 to 10 years, they have generally presented 'facts' (of course only those that support their agenda and skewed world view), while omitting any and all facts that challange that agenda. Except for a few exceptions (Dan Rather forgeries, Duke case, etc.) they really haven't 'made-up' information other than spinning the few 'facts' that they choose to report. Next year, I suspect they will begin to do more out-right fabrication of 'facts', report them repeatedly, and then rarely mention them after thoroughly dis-proven by the new media. I suspect that the 2008 elections will not only expose the Democrats for the frauds of their 'slogans', but will also expose the MSM for the agenda driven propagandists they have been for the past 4 decades. Hopefully, legal actions launched against their increased fabrications (outright lies) will cripple them into extinction, or at least major reform. At any rate, get the popcorn ready. The show will be breathtaking!
To know and not do, is to not yet know
The MSM has to step it up
December 27, 2007 - 11:33 ET by kathleenirishThe MSM has to step it up with the bias-election year, ya know. Hilary is calling in her blackmails and intimidations.
Anyone who says they support the troops but not the mission is a liar.
Of course the bias is going
December 27, 2007 - 13:35 ET by bigtimerOf course the bias is going to increase with the upcoming elections...
Long knives will be unsheathed.....
I picked More Biased
December 27, 2007 - 17:06 ET by pbthinkerI picked more biased, but it depends on who's running. If Hillary's running, it will be about the same. If Obama is running they've already chosen sides on this one and they will be more biased than any of us believe. They will do everything, in their power, to get Obama elected.
Democrats: Specializing in "high tech lynching" since 1987.
There's A Question?
December 31, 2007 - 02:39 ET by Repeal 16-17The Liberal Media will go into full fledge propaganda mode. It will be a Presidential election year and they will do their best to bring Queen Hillary to power.
Might not be a bad thing
December 31, 2007 - 18:48 ET by NiftySwellThe greater the bias the lower the public opinion of them goes, the lower their ratings go, the more it drives people to Newsbusters. Without the bias people would not seek the truth. Bring on the bias...it is like Toyota telling Ford to keep building those Pintos! We should be paying MSNBC every day they broadcast another one sided rant. We should have cheered when Reid announced more will die because of the surge and then shoved it in his face a few months later. We should also rejoice every time they reel in the timeline for a non - existent AGW catastrophe...all it does is create more patronage for this site and more distrust of the media and the fear mongering left! Problem is that conservatives are too nice and never rub the past in the face of liberals who predicted welfare reform would starve millions, or any number of other examples.
