No, but it does seem like a great way to lose friends, in my case anyway : ]

No, but I once new somebody whose third cousin, twice removed...

...did.

Actually, I have more fun staying home and hanging out in the chat room with my NB buddies.

I mean, fun like that that cannot be had anywhere else, and should probably be illegal.  :-)

Why would anyone want to go

Why would anyone want to go to a debate party? Other than the free food and alcoholic beverages of course. Hmmm, in the case of liberals I guess they sit around and smoke joints and say "Wow Man" all night.

Clear

The one funny thing Fey did on her spoof of Palin debating was the "drinking game" line...."Okay, now for you playing a drinking game, Maverick", (winks and mimes taking a shot).

We could set one up for tonite on the chat...."Change" for Obama, but I want something else for McCain.  I know, "Earmark".

No, I never have and don't

No, I never have and don't think I want to.  I have had several Superbowl parties over the years and everyone talks and you can't watch the game.  I prefer to say home with my own food and alcoholic beverages and watch the debates so I can hear what's being said.

Why bother?

McCain's already lost the election. His lack of a spine in calling out SOCIALISM on Obama, as well as the support of that pathetic "bailout" guaranteed the comrade's victory.

Too nervous to go

These last two debates have been rather nerve wracking. So I don't want to go to a debate party.  I've been invited.  Our County Republican Party has them--but I'd rather focus intently on what's being said, and be able to groan and yell at the TV, and get up out of my chair and pace the room, and at other times, jump up and down and pump the air with my fist.  And I'd be embarrassed to do this publicly. It's just too intense.

And that's just watching the pre-debate commentary . . .

Yep - I went to one held in

Yep - I went to one held in a baseball stadium - Kerry vs Bush, I believe.  Great moment when the helicopter flew over and everyone knew that the President had arrived.  Also, sitting in a stadium with other Republicans was the moment when I relized that I was not alone as a conservative.  (Hearing that many people boo Kerry as he bs'd was really great.)

No I haven't.

No, never been to a debate party.  Never been invited to one.  Come to think of it, I'm pretty sure I've never been invited to any party - of any kind - ever.

Funny i got envited to one today, maybe i'll bring my lap-top?

The chat is soo much fun... right cd!! ha ha ha
