My question to any NewsBusters Staff Memeber is, have you seen an increase in webpage hits over the last 6-8 months? I can only hope, as people realize that the media has stacked the deck against us that they are searching out, not only different sources of news and information, but also the likes and benefit of visiting NewsBusters.

I think the awareness is increasing among the independents who voted for Obama and those folks who just wanted to vote on something historic (first black president). Unfortunately, too many Dems couldn't care less about bias. For them bias is a good thing because they are right and everyone else should just shut up and sit down. I'm not certain anything will ever open their eyes.
I think many independent voters now see how over-the-top the media's pro-Obama bias is. However, many of them will never be aware of the anti-Bush, anti-conservative bias they've lived under for the past 9 years.
If you're not outraged at the media, you haven't been paying attention.
It used to be that the bias was more hidden and subtle. Today it is blatant and rabid. A larger and larger majority of the populace are seeing it displayed so how can they miss it?

I don't think that people are suddenly beginning to wake up to the rampant liberal bias because it's so obvious (that's been the case for years), but because Obama has been such a crashing failure since taking office, the BS that folks see and hear from the MSM is so transparent and tough to miss.
The bottom line is this...The fact that people seem to be more aware of liberal media bias is great news, regardless of the why...Let's just hope it continues.

It's always heartening to see the number of new people here and the polls showing that more and more people recognize that media is biased towards liberals. For years, like many people, I thought I was the only one who saw it - like a guy in a sci-fi movie who discovers that all his neighbors are aliens - and no one else sees it.

I think so. If anything, the "swing voters" who became used to the routine skewering of the Bush Administration have to be wondering why that same media goes out of its way to defend this Administration.

On my good days, I'm encouraged by the inroads made by the likes of MRC and NewsBusters. I personally send my lib friends and some of the fence-sitters links to articles I find particularly convincing. They don't always appreciate my being in their faces. But at least it gives them something to chew on.
