Is 3,200 miles one way a long distance?

Not while aircraft still work. That would make leaving Hawaii the LEAST green in the nation..I like being away from there when royality is in town.

FREEDOM

(D)

Yes, but..

We'll spend time with our immediate family at home, then, on the 26th, will go to AL to celebrate with my entire family. My NB friends will understand this. God Bless all my NB friends and have a Blessed and safe Christmas.

Rukus... None of us have

Rukus...

None of us have forgotten you, or what you have recently gone through. Prayers will be said for you and your loss at Christmas from many of us that you may never meet. But that's ok, we are still here for you.

Merry Christmas to you and your family. Keep your chin up and remember all the good times you had with your Niece. God Bless!

I'm so sorry about your niece, and I pray that justice will prevail.

A Blessed Christmas to you and your family.

Thank you lmm

I am very blessed to have friends that support us through this tough time. Thank you for your support, I feel I have an extended family here at NB that supports me and my family at this time. I'm not travelling.

I'm not travelling.  Wasn't planning to anyway, but now we're practically snowed in, which is weird for the Portland, OR area.  We're definitely having a white Christmas.

This too shall pass.

I recognize your right to believe, without ridicule, that there is no God.  I do not recognize any right for you to ridicule my belief in God.

I moved to where I used to travel.

For the second year in a row, I won't be schlepping my luggage and presents through a jam-packed airport at 6:00 AM to begin a cross country flight with two plane changes (to get the bargain fare). This fact, alone, is one of the best presents I could possibly enjoy...

Merry Christmas!

For the first times in two

For the first times in two years I'm not working on Christmas, so I'll be staying home with my beautiful bride!

Y'all have a wonderful Christmas!

Rex

That is SO sweet!  Your wife is a fortunate woman.

Merry Christmas to you and yours.

No place like home

There's no place like home for the holidays and no matter how far away your roam. If you want to be happy in a million ways, for the holidays you can't beat home sweet home.

Never under estimate the power of stupid people in large groups.

Could not think

Of another place I would rather be, so we are staying home.

Merry Christmas everyone. : ]

Why am I up at 0300???

Couldn't sleep for whatever reason. Will be spending Christmas Eve and Christmas Day (Christmas! Christmas! Christmas! Love it!) with  my most excellent wife and step son. Then off to Fairhope to be with my huge family on Day After CHRISTMAS Christmas celebration and healing. And love and celebration! Y'all know what I mean. Love and blessings to all my friends here on NB, even you pesky trolls. God Bless you all and Merry Christmas!!!!

Uncle Gary

P.S. Anyone having venison on your Christmas dinner table... I hate you! Just kidding   : ) I have been yearning for some venison for some time now. Yummy! (Where did that come from??? Oh, yeah, it's 3 something in the morning, off to bed now.)

A Blessed Christmas to All!

Stuck in Michigan agian...

I could swear that when you guys at NB asked about Thanksgiving I was stuck in Detroit then as well. Freezing rain and a weeks worth of snow...

Now it's Round II...

I must admit, timing has never been my friend...

Mike

Hey Mike

Sorry your stuck in the cold. 70's here in the deep south. I'd over-night ya some warmth if I could.  Best of luck to you my friend, safe travels.

Uncle Gary

A Blessed Christmas to All!

I guess I wouldn't mind if it were an idle Wednesday.

Rukus,

But it seems that EVERY holiday I'm in the same crappy place, smoking the same cigarettes, drinking the same beer. I'm really not gonna be surprised to see snow on the 4th of July this next year. Global warming (or is it climate change now...) be damned... Girlfriend in Canada, family in the suburbs and my sorry a$$ in the middle of nowhere.

I tell you, there better be a higher force at work, no way all this laughter should be wasted...

Mike

LOL!

Hey, ya got yer cigs and beer so it's not all bad. ; ) If ya see snow on the 4th, well then ya need to move down here and enjoy the 90's, lol! Girlfriend in Canada eh? Snow-bunny? Hope you make it to your destination soon my friend. I'll have a cold 12 ouncer for ya. Cheers!

Uncle Gary

A Blessed Christmas to All!

You have a good point there...

Rukus,

Got the smokes and the booze, who could ask for anything more.

Also, as a life-long Northerner, I may just cross that Mason-Dixon line if this freezing nonsense keeps up... Enough is enough!

Who in their right mind would settle in a place like this?!

-10 degrees is just God's way of telling people to keep moving, in my opinion...

Mike

We are staying home,

We are staying home, watching another algore global warming white Christmas as I type.

Us too, bt...

We're home too, while watching the thermometer hover around zero, and looking at all of our beautiful snow!

Merry Christmas!!!!

Hey Sky... We finally got

Hey Sky...

We finally got to turn out faucets off for the first time in almost two weeks to keep pipes from freezing here...we've moved on up to a tropical heat wave here, we went for 20, 17 below, moved up to 0 a few days ago, ten the last two day (day temps) and now a whooping 18 degrees... warm enough to put down serious snow...I'm in heaven!

Well, that until it is time to get on the roof and shovel, which may not be far off...dang it all!

"America isn't the problem...America is the solution." ~ Rush Limbaugh

bt...Ditto here as well...

We've had dripping faucets here as well for about the same length of time. Hopefully, by tomorrow or Friday we can stop dripping them. We've had a pile of snow too, and are supposed to get more tomorrow and Friday...I'm thrilled! I love snow! The bitter cold I can do without, but I love snow!

Well, I've got a pecan pie to get in the oven, and later we're off to midnight Mass.

To you and yours bt, Merry Christmas!!
