Pat Caddell Blasts Liberal Ailes Biographer for 'Incompetence'

By Matthew Sheffield | April 03, 2013 | 06:46

Since its founding in 1996, the Fox News Channel has been the subject of much media scrutiny. Part of this was inevitable given that its creator, Roger Ailes, explicitly designed it to be different than the rest of the national media outlets which lean to the left.

As such, there has been a lot of journalism produced about Fox News. Some of it has been excellent. Much of it has been nonsense, including a hoax “study” purporting to show that Fox News viewers have lower IQs than average and actual real study claiming that people who watched the channel were “misinformed” about political issues. As it turned out, the non-hoax was incredibly shoddy as it basically determined that someone was “informed” if he agreed with the political opinions of Democrats and “uninformed” if he agreed with Republicans.

Pat Caddell: Press Has Become ‘Threat to Democracy’ and ‘Enemy of the American People’

By Noel Sheppard | September 30, 2012 | 21:58

"The press’s job is to stand in the ramparts and protect the liberty and freedom of all of us from a government and from organized governmental power.  When they desert those ramparts and decide that they will now become active participants, that their job is not simply to tell you who you may vote for, and who you may not, but, worse—and this is the danger of the last two weeks—what truth that you may know, as an American, and what truth you are not allowed to know, they have, then, made themselves a fundamental threat to the democracy, and, in my opinion, made themselves the enemy of the American people."

So said Democratic strategist and pollster Pat Caddell at an Accuracy in Media conference earlier this month (video follows with transcribed highlights and commentary):

Coulter: NYT Prints Democrat Leaks to Make Democrats Look Good, GOP Leaks to Make GOP Look Bad

By Noel Sheppard | June 11, 2012 | 23:44

Conservative author Ann Coulter made an outstanding observation on Fox News's Hannity Monday about the ongoing national security leaks controversy.

"When the New York Times is printing classified intelligence under a Republican administration, it's to make the Republican administration look bad. When they’re doing it under a Democrat administration, they’re doing it to make the Democrat look good" (video follows with transcript and absolutely no need for additional commentary):

Dem Pollsters: Media Deceiving Themselves ObamaCare's Popular

By Noel Sheppard | March 13, 2010 | 13:51

A  A

Two prominent current and former Democrat pollsters are accusing media of deceiving themselves about healthcare reform being popular.

"Nothing has been more disconcerting than to watch Democratic politicians and their media supporters deceive themselves into believing that the public favors the Democrats' current health-care plan."

So wrote Pat Caddell and Doug Schoen in an op-ed published at the Washington Post Friday:

White House Blogs About Glenn Beck

By Noel Sheppard | October 01, 2009 | 10:09

Just how afraid of Glenn Beck are Barack Obama and Company?

So afraid they've actually started blogging about him to refute statements made on his program by either himself OR his guests.

Somewhat humorously, the offending guest on this occason was a senior advisor to former President Jimmy Carter.

Without further ado, the following was posted Wednesday by Jesse Lee, Obama's Online Programs Director:
