The leftists at Mother Jones are brandishing another secret tape. Pollster Frank Luntz, denounced as too conservative by liberals when he turns up on liberal networks, told a group of college students at the University of Pennsylvania this week that Rush Limbaugh and right-wing talk radio are "problematic" for the GOP and that he and Mark Levin were “killing” Marco Rubio for his immigration proposals.

Democrats have “got every other source of news on their side. And so that is a lot of what's driving it. If you take—Marco Rubio's getting his ass kicked. Who's my Rubio fan here? We talked about it. He's getting destroyed! By Mark Levin, by Rush Limbaugh, and a few others.” This might be a surprise to anyone who's listened to Rubio's actual interviews on conservative talk radio.

Dr. Benjamin Carson made a comment on the Mark Levin radio show Monday guaranteed to invoke scorn from media members across the fruited plain.

When Levin asked, "A lot of white liberals just don't like it, do they," Carson responded, "They’re the most racist people there are because, you know, they put you in a little category, a little box. You have to think this way. How could you dare come off the plantation?" (video follows with transcript and commentary):

As NewsBusters reported Thursday, Tom Brokaw appearing on MSNBC's Morning Joe said that not supporting gun control in the wake of the Newtown, Connecticut, massacre is akin to those that didn't back the Civil Rights movement in the '60s.

CNN's Howard Kurtz on Sunday asked liberal talk radio host Stephanie Miller a question that most right-thinking Americans pray the answer is "Yes."

"You are a liberal in a conservative media...dominated by the likes of Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and Laura Ingraham," said the Reliable Sources host. MRC President Brent Bozell appeared on the Mark Levin radio show, Thursday, to premiere a new montage of Ed Schultz's most hateful comments and attack MSNBC's double standard. Pointing out liberal journalists who have called for Rush Limbaugh's firing, but are silent on Shultz, Bozell declared, "I’ve had it with the dishonesty. I’ve had it with the shameless posturing. I’ve had it with the hypocrisy.  And it’s time to call them out on it."

Conservative talk radio host Mark Levin took to the airwaves Friday to defend Rush Limbaugh from all the media attacks he's receiving over his comments regarding Georgetown University law student Sandra Fluke.

The media is going to work overtime to ignore Mark Levin’s brand-new book “Ameritopia.” He asks: Do we choose between America as it was founded on liberty or a radically socialist Ameritopia? Levin says we’ve already chosen (b). No one in the liberal media wants that announced so explicitly from their mountain tops.

The arrogance of socialists is apparent on the back cover of Levin’s book. It carries a passage from Adam Smith that aptly defines the modern leftist: “He seems to imagine that he can arrange the different members of a great society with as much ease as the hand arranges the different pieces upon a chess-board.” That perfectly defines utopians like Thomas Friedman of The New York Times, who has explicitly declared his affinity for tyranny. “I think we’re entering an era...where being in politics is going to be more than anything else about taking things away from people.”

Actor Alec Baldwin for the second time in as many months went nuts on Twitter.

His targets Monday were George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, Mark Levin, readers of the website Free Republic, and what he referred to as "right wing trash":

Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., announced Monday that he would not vote for the pending continuing resolution - a stopgap to keep the federal govenrment funded until Congress passes an actual budget. Rubio joins Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, and a number of House conservatives, who have decried both the "kick-the-can-down-the-road" approach of the second CR Congress will consider in a matter of weeks, and the apparent inability of congressional Republicans to work their central legislative agenda into the new CR.
