ABC's George Stephanopoulos Skips Skyrocketing Murder Rate in Rahm Emanuel's Chicago

By Scott Whitlock | July 16, 2012 | 17:05

A  A

Former NBC correspondent Liz Trotta on Sunday called out journalists for ignoring the skyrocketing murder rate in Rahm Emanuel's Chicago. In her Fox News commentary, Trotta singled out George Stephanopoulos, an Emanuel friend, for skipping the topic when he interviewed the (now) mayor of Chicago.

Describing Emanuel as the "closest of all cronies to Obama," Trotta reminded, "What about Chicago, Mr. Mayor? There were no questions on ABC about Chicago." Pointing out the 600 gangs active in the city, she added, "You know, it is so interesting how you can get the liberal media excited about children that are accidentally killed in either Iraq or Afghanistan because of a stray bomb, etc. But nobody seems to care about the children in Chicago."

Liz Trotta: Obama ‘Encourages’ Foreign Media’s ‘Animosity’ Toward U.S.

By Brent Baker | November 13, 2010 | 22:30

A  A

Former NBC and CBS correspondent Liz Trotta contended on FNC’s Fox NewsWatch that the already “very, very liberal” foreign news media are “encouraged by Obama's analysis that everybody in the world hates us,” which “only certifies their animosity towards the U.S.”

Trotta’s assessment came in reply to FNC host Jon Scott, who wondered in regard to President Barack Obama’s trip to several Asian nations: “What about his status with the foreign press? He's gone on this big jaunt to Asia now, seems to be enjoying rock star status over there.”

Times Watch's New Supreme Court Study Discussed on Fox News

By Clay Waters | October 04, 2010 | 17:34

A  A
Times Watch's new study "Supremely Slanted -- How the New York Times Pounds Conservatives and Coddles Liberals When Nominated for the Supreme Court," was discussed by Fox News contributor Liz Trotta on "America's News Headquarters" just before the one o'clock hour on Saturday afternoon.

After some discussion of a Gallup poll showing Americans have little trust in the mainstream media, host Uma Pemmaraju shifted the discussion to the new Supreme Court study from Times Watch. (Watch the video here.)
Fox News Host Uma Pemmaraju: "But there's another poll, out right now that looks at media behavior as well and specifically how the media handles the Supreme Court nominees, how are those related?"
