Joe RommClimate Progress's Romm Blames Tiger's US Open Loss on Global Warming
In his latest exhibition of Global Warming Derangement Syndrome, Romm conveniently ignored how New York is currently experiencing one of its coldest Junes on record. Alas, as we've seen from Romm and his ilk in the past, facts are often inconvenient truths to be summarily cast aside when they conflict with the agenda (h/t Climate Depot): More Americans Believe Global Warming Natural Versus Man-made
This represents a stunning reversal in the past twelve months, and is likely a function of a recent global cooling that has thwarted efforts by climate alarmists to convince citizens that the warming trend that began in the mid-'70s was going to continue forever if the world didn't immediately stop burning fossil fuels. Now, according to Rasmussen Reports, those believing man can actually control the planet's thermostat have plummeted in number: Climate Progess's Romm Bashes NYT For Writing About Morano
Joe Romm's debate defeat tour hysterically continued Thursday when he went against his own decree forbidding further references to Marc Morano at his Climate Progress blog by eviscerating the New York Times for having the nerve to write about -- wait for it! -- Marc Morano. Oh the humanity! In a tirade that would most certainly make Tonya Harding proud, Romm scolded Times author Leslie Kaufman in a piece deliciously titled "In a stunning journalistic lapse, the NY Times gives credulous coverage to Swift Boat smearer Marc Morano, the Jayson Blair of global warming": Climate Progress's Romm Responds Unkindly to NewsBusters
In an article hysterically titled "Newbusters jumps the shark (if that’s possible) in its attack on my truthful statement “windpower now generates more jobs in this country than coal mining," Romm took issue with some statements I made about his debate performance in my April 3 piece. Romm's main beef (bolds and italics his): Debate Loser Romm: No More Morano Posts at Climate Progress
Attaboy, Joe! Not only that, Romm actually made the banning official in a CP posting Tuesday (I'm not kidding): Global Warming Debate: Morano vs. Climate Progress's RommFor your Friday evening entertainment pleasure, last week Sen James Inhofe's (R-Ok.) former communications director Marc Morano debated Climate Progress's Joe Romm on matters relating to the global warming myth. UPDATE at end of post: Romm hysterically responds to NewsBusters. Presented courtesy of Roll Call TV (debate begins at minute 3:45, part two below the fold): |
