Janeane Garofalo Stands By Her Tea Partiers Are Racists Claim

Comedienne and liberal activist Janeane Garofalo caused quite a stir last month when she called Tea Party goers "a bunch of teabagging rednecks," adding "this is about hating a black man in the White House. This is racism straight up."

On May 8, Fox News correspondent Griff Jenkins happened upon Garofalo at a Starbucks in Boston, and asked, "What do you think of calling just honest protesters racists?"

Garofalo wasn't backing down or apologizing: "Well, because they're not just honest protesters. They were indeed motivated a lot by racism."

What follows is a full transcript of Jenkins' appearance on Fox News's "Hannity" Monday wherein much of his interview with Garofalo was aired (video embedded below the fold, complete, unedited interview video at end of post):

Fox News Chases Down Rashid Khalidi

Griff Jenkins from Fox & Friends l NewsBusters.org"Fox & Friends" on Friday replayed the videotape of Griff Jenkins chasing down Rashid Khalidi, which was originally aired on Thursday's "Hannity & Colmes." Unsurprisingly, Khalidi was not willing to talk with the Fox News reporter.

Before showing the video, co-hosts Steve Doocy and Gretchen Carlson explained that Fox News had previously called Khalidi but had been hung up on, which is why Jenkins was deployed to ambush the Columbia professor.

When Jenkins caught up with Khalidi, he asked:

Fox Reporter Assaulted By Anti-war Protestors In Denver

The Democratic National Convention hasn't even begun, and the protestors are out trying to Recreate 68.

For those unfamiliar, the group "was created for all the grassroots people who are tired of being sold out by the Democratic Party," and are gathering in Denver to "resist a two-party system that allows imperialism and racism to continue unrestrained."

High profile activists such as Cindy Sheehan and Cynthia McKinney have already joined the festivities.

On Sunday, Fox News's Griff Jenkins tried to speak to these folks as they marched in Denver, but was instead verbally assaulted (video embedded below the fold courtesy of our friend Johnny Dollar, vulgarity warning, photo courtesy Rocky Mountain News):

Jesse Jackson Refuses to Answer Fox News's Questions Concerning Wright

Since the Rev. Jeremiah Wright revelations first shook the Obama campaign, one of America's so-called foremost civil rights leaders has been conspicuously silent about the subject.

With this in mind, Fox News producer Griff Jenkins went to the Take Back America convention in Washington, D.C., Wednesday to get Jesse Jackson's opinions about the controversy that virtually everyone in America is talking about.

Sadly, the Reverend wasn't interested in answering any of Jenkins' questions on this matter (video available here courtesy our friend Ms Underestimated):
