63-year-old aging rock star Elton John wants to be a guest star on the hit TV series "Glee" with the storyline that he's the lover of the overbearing coach of the cheerleaders, but he ends up in bed with the show's 16-year-old gay virgin.

This was revealed by the Emmy Award-winning co-star of the program Jane Lynch on Monday's "Tonight Show" (video follows with transcript and commentary):

Cat Fight: Morning Joe and Mika Bare Claws Over Couric, Limbaugh

By Mark Finkelstein | February 03, 2011 | 09:22

Is the cat fight a strictly feminine affair, or can a man and woman engage in one?  Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski certainly seemed to offer up a fair facsimile of the genre today. The two traded feline fisticuffs on Morning Joe.

Scarborough went first, swiping at Katie Couric for having cavorted on a Miami beach with her beau before departing for Egypt.  Mika later retaliated, archly musing about the number of Limbaugh's marriages during a segment featuring Elton John's comments on El Rushbo.

Elton John Blames Parade Mag For His 'Jesus Was Gay' Remark

By Noel Sheppard | February 21, 2010 | 12:05

Pop singer Elton John is blaming Parade magazine for his remark in Sunday's edition that Jesus Christ was a compassionate, super-intelligent gay man.

"Parade magazine did a kind of a sneaky thing and put it on their website that I said this," John told Chicago's WGN-TV.

According to John, he made the comment "as part of the conversation during the interview," but he apparently didn't think this was going to be included in the article.

"I don't really want to cause a controversy, and I didn't know it was going to be a sidebar to an article that was a great article, and I think Parade have been a bit sneaky about that" (video embedded below the fold with partial transcript, h/t HotAirPundit):

Elton John Says Jesus Christ Was Gay

By Noel Sheppard | February 19, 2010 | 00:24

He's made some crazy statements in the past, but pop singer Elton John now claims Jesus Christ was gay.

In an interview scheduled to be published by Parade magazine this Sunday, John says, "I think Jesus was a compassionate, super-intelligent gay man who understood human problems."

This of course seems absurd coming from a man who in 2006 said, “I think religion has always tried to turn hatred towards gay people,”

Regardless of the incongruity of such remarks, John is further quoted as saying according to FoxNews.com (h/t Story Balloon):
