Tucker Carlson: 'Very Few People Have Done More To Divide The Country Than Chris Matthews'

By Noel Sheppard | July 19, 2011 | 22:33

Tucker Carlson on Tuesday said, "Very few people have done more to divide the country than Chris Matthews."

Such occurred on Fox's "Hannity" show as the Great American Panel discussed the "Hardball" host's deplorable interview with Congressman Joe Walsh (R-Ill.) earlier in the day (video follows with transcript and commentary):

Dem Pollsters: Media Deceiving Themselves ObamaCare's Popular

By Noel Sheppard | March 13, 2010 | 12:51

Two prominent current and former Democrat pollsters are accusing media of deceiving themselves about healthcare reform being popular.

"Nothing has been more disconcerting than to watch Democratic politicians and their media supporters deceive themselves into believing that the public favors the Democrats' current health-care plan."

So wrote Pat Caddell and Doug Schoen in an op-ed published at the Washington Post Friday:

FNC's 'Fox & Friends' Discusses MSNBC Cropping President Bush Out of Newsweek Cover

By NB Staff | March 05, 2010 | 11:27

On Friday's Fox & Friends, co-host Steve Doocy picked up an item reported on by NewsBusters on Wednesday about MSNBC cropping President George W. Bush's face out of the latest Newsweek cover. As Doocy explained: "...on MSNBC...They have cropped all of President Bush's face out. So why does the mainstream media have so much trouble giving him credit?"

Doocy discussed the issue with a political panel that included Democratic strategist Doug Schoen, who acknowledged: "What MSNBC did makes no sense." He later added: "...that makes no sense at all. Because to do that is just plain mean-spirited and wrong." Another panelist, Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Karen Hunter, later admitted: "perhaps cropping him out completely may not be too fair."

On Wednesday's Morning Joe program on MSNBC a picture of the Newsweek cover was shown, but with only President Bush's arm visible, his face had been completely cut out of the original image.

Poll: 19% of Dems Think World Better If US Loses Iraq War

By Brad Wilmouth | October 06, 2007 | 18:23

Friday's "Hannity and Colmes" featured a discussion of a recently released Fox News/Opinion Dynamics poll which found that, when asked the question, "Do you personally think the world would be better off if the United States loses the war in Iraq?" 19 percent of Democrats answered "yes" while 20 percent answered "don't know," leaving only 62 percent who definitely disagreed with the idea that the world might be better off if America lost. By contrast, 87 percent of Republicans and 76 percent of Independents disagreed with the idea that a loss by America might be a good thing for the world. (Transcript follows)
