Howling Wolves

Since the November elections some voters have been howling like a pack of wolves standing over a freshly killed deer. They want to hear that the veiled promises made to them by the newly elected congress will be kept. Impeach Bush, roll back the tax cuts for the rich, get the troops out of Iraq and investigations of the lead up to the war. But it is not going to happen! The voters and the ones that stayed home have been conned by the the main stream media. The greatest con artists of all time. The new congress main focus and bragging points is that they are going to raise the minimum wage. I do not remember the minimum wage as being one of the main topics of the last election.

There will be meaningless investigations, countless finger pointing, chest thumping and enough hot air to melt the polar ice caps. But nothing is going to change. This incoming congress neither had or has a plan to accomplish or do any of the things that you were led to believe. Do not look for any help from the msm because they will not attack their own creation.

Valerie Phlame Repeat

Under the lack of leadership by Pelosi and Reid the approval rating of Congress is 18%. The witch hunt of Attorney General Alberto Gonzales helps explain in part these low ratings. Not a single member of congress has said that Gonzales has broken any law. He is being charged and investigated for assisting President Bush with politicizing political appointments. ( Go Figure)  One of the charges is that 8 U.S. attorneys were fired so that 1 of Carl Roves cronies could be hired. If the attorney is good enough to replace 8 of them then he should have been hired years ago.

Just like with Valerie Phlame enough witnesses will be called so that someone will be charged with an unrelated crime.

The voters always seem to for

The voters always seem to forget that when the democrats say 'I'm going to do this.' they mean it until they get elected, then it's 'um, er, uhhh...'  This is what happens when a party who's objective is "We don't know what we'll do, but we won't do that!"

Reminders

Wonder if Nancy and Harry ever thought that the most vocal about commitments to their veiled promises would be Chris Mathews?

Minimum Wage

The new minimum wage law has been enacted by attachment to a spending bill. Not passed because it would not pass on its own merit.

The scorecard does not look very good for the Democrats.
