SARASOTA, FL. (NS/BuchananForCongress) -Showing the importance of the 13th FL. Congressional District Race, President George W. Bush will make an appearance at a Rally for GOP Congressional Candidate Vern Buchanan on Tuesday October the 24th in Sarasota, FL... Self-made businessman and community leader Vern Buchanan announced today that President George W. Bush will be in Sarasota next week for a grassroots event in support of Buchanan's bid for Congress... "Only in America can a blue collar kid grow up to host the President of their country," said Buchanan.  "I am honored to have the President play an active role in my candidacy.  But this isn't just about me.  It is about maintaining control of the U.S. House of Representatives.  We look forward to a good event to rally the base and turn out the vote on November 7." In his first visit to Sarasota since the terrorist attacks of September 11, President Bush will address Buchanan supporters at the Sarasota-Bradenton International Convention Center, located at 8005 15th Street East in Sarasota, FL.  The event will begin at 1:15 p.m. on October 24...Tickets to hear the President's remarks are $20 and can be obtained by calling the Buchanan campaign at 941-953-6060 or their local Republican Party office... It is indeed an honor at any time to have the President of the United States visit your community. This is one of those once in a lifetime times that many will never see again... The Sun Coast of Florida is unique in that there are more registered Republican voters living there than there are Democrats. If the GOP is able to turn out their Voter base, as some now doubt, they will win simply because of the numbers they have in the majority...I plan on voting early and encourage everyone that can to do the same thing. Early voting in Florida starts on October the 23rd and you can vote by going to your Supervisor of Elections office and bring your identification with you...For now, that's all there is on the Campaign trail in Sarasota County, FL... God Bless The United States Of America And All of Those Who Defend, Protect And Serve Her... Matt BruceManaging EditorNews Sarasota.comHost Of "The Captain's AMERICA" Radio Show For more, go to:  www.vernbuchananonforcongress.com
