Jimmy Kimmel Cracks Joke About Obama’s Incompetence and World Cup

Even liberals and moderates have become disillusioned with President Obama’s failed policies and promises (Obamacare, anyone?) On Tuesday night’s Jimmy Kimmel Live, the late-night talk show host started the show by making a joke about Obama’s incompetence. Even Kimmel’s presumably liberal audience laughed.

Kimmel began by joking that the World Cup has led workplaces to be less productive. It was no different in the White House, Kimmel explained. (Video and transcript below.)

KIMMEL: Work even stopped at the White house today. About 200 White House staffers staffers gathered to watch the game when lo and behold, their boss walked in and began to lead them in cheer.

PRESIDENT OBAMA: I believe! I believe! I believe that we can win! I believe that we can win!

KIMMEL: Well, he believed in a lot of things that didn't quite work out. Just put that one on the list. [Audience laughter and cheers]

This isn’t the first time Kimmel has criticized Obama’s policies or his supporters. In the last several months he has criticized Obamacare several times. In January he ripped apart Obamacare and the stupidity of people who believed it would work; and in October he interviewed pedestrians to show that most people thought there was a difference between “Obamacare” and the “Affordable Care Act.”
