Alec Baldwin: Secessionists Should Call New Country ‘United States of Caucasia’

White jokes continue to be all the rage with the liberal media.

On CBS’s Late Show Wednesday, Alec Baldwin mocked Americans wanting to secede from the nation due to the results of last week’s election by saying they might name their new country “the United States of Caucasia” (video follows with transcript and commentary):

ALEC BALDWIN: And then I read where now, what is it, several states want to secede from the United States…

DAVID LETTERMAN, HOST: Leave the union.

BALDWIN: …because of the results of the election. And it's so strange because I had many of those states on a list of states I would like to secede from the United States. I had proposed a bill to the Congress.

LETTERMAN: You proposed a bill?

BALDWIN: Yeah. And the people that are leading that movement, it's amazing, because we actually agree on something for the first time. Yeah, that secession.

LETTERMAN: And, I mean, what happens? Why? And what will they do? I'd kind of like to see this.

BALDWIN: What would that country be? What would they call it? The United Flakes of America? The United States of Caucasia? We can keep going, by the way.

LETTERMAN: But it won't happen because we looked it up and it takes the approval of every state in the union for one state to be granted secession.

BALDWIN: But if they say that it's 750,000 people out of 300 million people, gosh darn it, that's one quarter of one percent of the people of this country want to secede. It's trending. Hashtag secession. It's all over Twitter. All over Twitter.

LETTERMAN: Well, that's interesting because you just hear that people are enthusiastic on this topic and then you do the math and it's not that big a deal.

BALDWIN: It's a spit in the ocean. Literally, it's spit in the ocean.

What's really funny about this is that back in 2000, Baldwin threatened that he would personally secede from the nation if George W. Bush was elected president.

Not surprisingly, he didn't keep his word - which as we all know is literally spit in the ocean.
