Joan Rivers dropped the F-bomb on the red carpet at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner on Saturday night, saying that President Barack Obama and other politicians should “stop campaigning” and "[t]ake care of the f****** country."

“No. I think President Obama should stop campaigning and take care of the country. I think it’s disgusting that everyone two years out is campaigning already. Take care of the f***ing country,” Rivers told CNSNews.com when asked if President Obama has lived up to her expectations (video below the break).

When asked what issues she thinks Obama has not addressed, Rivers said, “It’s not him. It’s all of them. It’s all of them. We’re bankrupting this country over three wars that we should--it’s just ridiculous and you know it and I know it. I don’t want to get into it. I’m an actor. I’m not a politician.”

Rivers also said actors should stay out of politics.

“Actors should act. Politicians should do politics. Very often actors--actors should do what we should do. I think we are so influential in our thoughts that I think you have to be careful before you come in half baked,” she said.

President Barack Obama launched his re-election campaign at the beginning of April.
