MSNBC's Obama Style Promo
MSNBC has recently taken their negativity to a whole new level of fear mongering with a promotional ad peddling their election coverage. The ad features reporter Andrea Mitchell narrating the voiceover:
People really care because our kids are falling behind in school. Because health care is no longer affordable, we’re at war, the American economy is in trouble.
While MSNBC had a bullpen of biased reporters to pitch the promo, Andrea Mitchell was the natural closer.
In May she implied Republicans might cheat if the election is close in November.
There are, you know, Republican governors and Secretaries of State, if you will, Katherine Harris-type election officials in those states [red states]. So, even though he [Barack Obama] may have won primaries or caucuses in those states, he has to go up against the establishment, which would be Republican, and he has to figure out a way to get a fair vote if he's the nominee in those red states.
MSNBC apparently hopes to avoid such a scenario so they have continually aired a deplorable ad that implies Americans better vote in November because the nation is in a dire shape with a change of course is urgently needed.
The thinly-veiled pander to Obama’s campaign theme of change begs the question: does MSNBC believe Americans are stupid enough to blindly follow their biased reporting and promotional material?
After all, in January, "Morning Joe" contributor Willie Geist reminded everyone to "never underestimate the stupidity of the American people."
When the network is MSNBC and the slant is all liberal, all the time, viewers better expect a negative portrayal of both the American economy and the American people.
